Edilma ( @edilma_yearwood ) is a certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 40 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience. Her research interests include mood dysregulation in youth, the intersection of culture and mental health of immigrant populations, and community-based participatory action research methodologies. She is an editor and chapter contributor to two mental health textbooks, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (2nd ed. 2021) and the Routledge Handbook of Global Mental Health Nursing (2017). She is Associate Editor of the Archives of Psychiatric Nursing Journal and has done extensive work in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
