Dr. Thomas D Krom, Segment Director, Environment at Seequent, brings a unique perspective to the digital construction landscape, rooted in more than two decades of experience as a hydrogeologist. His early career was dedicated to critical environmental challenges, from remediating contamination to mapping potable water supplies. Pivoting from practice to innovation in 2007, he became a product founder for Leapfrog Hydro, driven by a mission to empower fellow scientists with intuitive and powerful digital tools. Since 2018, Dr. Krom has helped guide the strategic direction of Seequent, a Bentley company. He is a passionate advocate for leveraging subsurface digital models to help de-risk projects and build more resilient and sustainable infrastructure.
