Dr. Kasinee Katelakha, Ph.D. is a researcher and Assistant Director of the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her expertise spans biochemistry, immobilized enzymes, analytical chemistry, halal science and technology and functional ingredients. She is widely recognized for her contributions to the development of the H numbers system, a halal food additive database that received Thailand's Public Sector Excellence Award. Dr. Kasinee serves as a member of several international technical committees, including OIC/SMIIC TC1 (Halal Food), OIC/SMIIC TC2 (Halal Cosmetics), and the Asian Working Group on Halal Food (AWGHF), contributing to the development of international halal standards and guidelines. As an invited speaker, she has delivered presentations at numerous international conferences and forums across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe on topics including halal food additives, halal cosmetics, halal management systems, halal analytical technologies, and sustainable ingredients for halal industries. Her current research focuses on plant-based foods, functional cosmetics, halal ingredients, and innovative analytical technologies that support the advancement of the global halal industry.
