Cathy Mooney leads the Support and Sustainability research programme within the UK Ministry of Defence, overseeing research into climate change and sustainability, power and energy, and logistics and support. Working with international government partners and colleagues in industry and academia, this work supports UK Defence in leveraging the opportunities of sustainable technologies and navigating the energy transition. Cathy’s career spans over twenty years within the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, working across the Land, Maritime and Air environments.
