Dr. Dinesh Chhetri is a professor of head and neck surgery at UCLA and an internationally recognized laryngologist specializing in voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. He earned his biochemistry degree from Brown University and completed his medical training, residency, and fellowship at UCLA. He has authored over 100 publications and is known for his expertise in treating vocal cord conditions, airway stenosis, and swallowing disorders. Dr. Chhetri is also certified in transoral robotic surgery and has published a leading textbook on dysphagia. Currently, he serves as vice-chair of UCLA's Department of Head and Neck Surgery and directs several key programs including the Swallowing Disorders and Cancer Survivorship Programs. He is actively involved in global surgical education and serves on multiple national and international committees.
