Dr. Darren Gates is a senior Clinical Fellow at Alder Hey. He also works as a Clinical Innovation Consultant in the Trust's Innovation Hub as clinical lead for the Artificial Intelligence workstream, including collaborations with Science and Technology Facilities Council’s (STFC) Hartree Centre on the Living Hospital project to improve patient care and experience. The Trust’s Hub has a combination of clinical innovators and entrepreneurs, academic experts, technicians and a highly skilled innovation support crew to accelerate Innovation in Healthcare.
