Cllr Rajawat, Bio Shantanu Rajawat is a lifelong resident of Hounslow, born in the Borough at West Middlesex Hospital and attending local state schools. With a long interest in youth engagement and empowerment, diverse communities, community relations and local public service he is a former Member of the Youth Parliament for Hounslow. The former Cabinet member for Finance has ensured diligent financial management to enable reinvestment in frontline services. Previously as Chair of the Disability Community Forum Shantanu worked passionately on behalf of the people with a range of disabilities. Cllr. Rajawat leaves behind a successful private sector career to focus full time on public service. He is married to Divya and has one son.
