Christine Gillespie, ICD.D, MBA, B.Comm. (with Distinction), has two decades experience in agribusiness in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Gillespie is currently VP, Transportation, Distribution & Logistics, overseeing over $1 billion in freight and distribution spend for Nutrien, the world’s largest provider of crop inputs and services. She has managed P&Ls in both the bulk commodity fertilizer business and the farmer-focused retail products and services business. Ms. Gillespie’s broad cross-functional background spans general management, operations, corporate development & strategy (including China, India, Africa & Europe), investor relations, marketing, and transportation. Ms. Gillespie has served on the Boards of Nutrien’s European subsidiaries & JVs. She currently serves on the Boards of Calgary Economic Development and Highbanks Society. She is a former Board member of Neptune Bulk Terminals and Canpotex Bulk Terminals Limited. She is fluent in English & French.
