Chris is driven by a deep passion for unlocking potential—within individuals, teams, and organisations. Having led Early Careers at Network Rail and QinetiQ Chris is passionate about empowering others to grow through collaboration, curiosity, and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful, long-term success.

Across his career Chris has worked within the Chemical, Education, Rail and Defence sectors and during his time as a teacher of Maths & Economics recognised that inspiring young people, providing them with information and experiences to enable them to make informed decisions about the direction of their careers was a key part of their education. Since then Chris has played an active role in developing and delivering STEM engagement programmes and initiatives at a national and local level and is excited to be speaking at DSEI NEXTGEN to continue that work.

As a Fellow of the 5% club Chris is an active advocate of Earn as you Learn schemes and works at a sector level to understand the skills gaps that exist and in the development of strategies to close them. He regularly contributes to Skills Round tables to help shape future policy in this area.
