Mr. Satterfield has over a decade of experience managing multi-million-dollar federal grants and designing strategic organizational initiatives. Currently, Mr. Satterfield serves as a Project Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs Office. Mr. Satterfield manages competitive State Energy Program (SEP) awards and provides technical assistance to states and local communities. Prior to his current role at DOE, Mr. Satterfield served as the Grant Administrator for the SEP formula grant at the Department of Energy and Environment’s (DOEE) State Energy Office (SEO), in Washington DC. In this capacity he provided programmatic oversite for DOEE programs that focused on energy efficiency, demand response, grid infrastructure, and energy resilience. He has a M.A. in Organizational Communications and a B.S. in Communications (Public Relations).
