Charles Hendry was Minister of Energy in David Cameron’s Coalition Government. He was subsequently appointed as the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Central Asia. Since leaving Parliament in 2015, after 23 years as an MP, he has focussed on issues of energy and resource security and the transition to Net Zero. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh Business School, teaching on the Climate Change Masters course.
