Brian Moran is a senior European real estate executive with over 25 years’ experience delivering large scale development and urban regeneration projects, working closely with local and national governments and institutional investors. He is best known for building and leading Hines’ Irish business over a 15 year period, growing it from inception into one of the country’s largest real estate platforms. During that time, oversaw significant aspects of major mixed use and residential developments, including Cherrywood, Ireland’s largest new town for 30,000 people. Originally trained as an architect and urban designer, Brian brings a combination of design, planning, policy and capital markets expertise. He has deep experience in land development strategy, transport and infrastructure led growth, public private partnerships, and the structural conditions that enable—or constrain—housing delivery at scale. Brian has advised governments and institutions on housing and regeneration policy and led industry engagement with senior policymakers. He is a Global Trustee and former Chair of the Urban Regeneration Council at the Urban Land Institute. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and completed Harvard executive education focused on land based PPPs.
