Balthasar Klimbie studies Power Electronics and Energy and Policy at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Since then his work has been alternating between policy advice on one side and project development on the other. From advice at CE-Delft to project development at Solarplaza and later wind energy development at Fortis Wind Energy, back to advice for the European Commission to support African countries in their offgrid policies. Now he is working at TenneT TSO on the topic of Target Grid, TenneTs strategy to deal with the energy transition which consist out of implementing €160 billion of investments but also the policy and stakeholder changes needed to make it a success.
