Arjun Goyal holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He has over 40 years of experience in lubricant development. Prior to joining BASF, he worked for over 29 years at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering facility in Paulsboro, NJ, USA, where he was responsible for product development in different areas including engine oils, marine lubricants, off highway lubricants and transportation (axle and transmission) oils. He is currently working at BASF Corporation and has 13+ years of experience in developing new unique sustainable, fuel efficient axle lubricants. He holds several patents related to his work.
