Angie Pender-Fox is the Associate Executive Director at The Food Pantries for the Capital District. As Associate Executive Director, Angie spearheads and oversees The Food Pantries’ projects, programs and operations. During Angie’s tenure, the organization has experienced tremendous growth including the development of a Resource and Referral Team, Food Connect Map and Outreach, Food As Medicine Program, Home Delivery Programming, Healthy Food Pantry Initiative and the Community Food Assistance Network, both locally and statewide. Over the last 10 years the coalition’s membership has grown over 30% and the food delivery programs have continued to deliver millions of pounds of food, annually, throughout the Capital Region. Angie’s work with The Food Pantries prioritizes information sharing, collaborations and most importantly providing quality services to our community members and The Food Pantries’ coalition members. Angie is a graduate of Siena College with a BA in English. She also received a post graduate degree in Humanistic Counselling from the University of Westminster in London, England. Angie’s experience spans over 25 years in the nonprofit sector, throughout the country and overseas.
