The vision of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is to make the UK recognised as the place where the most creative researchers can deliver world-leading engineering and physical sciences research by working within the UK academic research ecosystem and the R&D base within business. EPSRC supports novel underpinning research in sensors and instrumentation that advances a number of application areas, including aerospace, healthcare, energy, robotics, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
