Dr. Landstrom is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Division of Cardiology) and Cell Biology at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He is a pediatric cardiologist with expertise in heritable arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and cardiac diseases. He is a recognized international expert in pediatric cardiovascular genetics and led the first consensus clinical guidelines for cardiovascular genetic testing in pediatric patients. He leads an NIH-funded wet lab which studies how heritable arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart disease develop with a goal of developing new therapies to treat these life-threatening diseases.
