Amber Webb, MSN-HI, RN, CRNI is the Nurse Manager for OHSU Home Infusion Pharmacy as well as two Ambulatory Non-Oncology licensed clinical infusion spaces. Her clinical background includes 14 years in Oncology administering chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, and CAR-T therapies. She joined the home infusion specialty six years ago to expand her skillset and provide community-based care to chronically-ill patients. Her particular interest within home infusion includes addressing the more complex social dynamics and the overall well-being of patients and families while dealing with their healthcare challenges. Her other focus targets the need for safety protections of her clinical staff while delivering care across two states in sometimes unknown environments. This includes incorporating safety classes and difficult situation de-briefs, de-escalation training, as well as the creation of a department-wide interidisciplinary safety subcomittee team.
