Dr Alka Khungar is the Customer Value (CX) Director at Johnson Controls International. She supports Global Building Solutions and leads the CX initiatives for the Security. Dr Khungar has been with JCI for the past 24 years (Legacy TYCO Int). In her current role, she focuses on understanding the strategic needs of her customers and gathers customer insights by hosting customer listening sessions, advisory councils and conducting customer research. The customer intelligence is used to form up strategic growth plans by business leaders as a reactive approach to understanding the needs of the industry. Dr Khungar has a Doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Management and an MBA in Business Administration. She teaches at Lynn International School of Business at Boca Raton, FL. Dr Khungar resides in Wellington, Fl and has 2 daughters. As a member of the newly formed SIA ESG advisory board, Dr Khungar brings her passion of ESG in Security to life by introducing new and innovative concepts that organizations can adapt as they set to meet their respective sustainability goals.
