Alicia Byrne is a genomics specialist research scientist with the Clinical Genome Resource (ClinGen) team at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Her work focuses on both the development of variant classification standards as well as their implementation across a range of disease areas in the clinical and clinical research settings. She received her doctoral degree in Medical Sciences from the University of South Australia in 2020 before conducting postdoctoral training at the Centre for Population Genomics (Australia) and Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (USA).
