Alex leads the development and delivery of district energy networks at HermeticaBlack. Alex has over 14 years of experience advising on and investing in assets in the UK, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure assets such as landfill gas, anaerobic digestion, hydro electric power and heat networks. Prior to joining HermeticaBlack Alex was an Investment Manager and latterly a Senior Asset Manager for an investment management company. As an Investment Manager Alex focused on originating and executing VCT (Venture Capital Trusts) and EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) qualifying investments. In her role as a Senior Asset Manager Alex worked primarily on the Heat Networks Investment Project (HNIP), a UK Government funded scheme to catalyse growth in good quality, low carbon district heating projects. Alex performed an active role in the successful mobilisation and launch of HNIP through to originating new pipeline opportunities and latterly leading the post Investment Committee execution and Monitoring and Reporting function.
