CEO Imura founded COGNANO, Inc. in 2014. After cancer and aging research at Kyoto University, his research was published by 'Science', and he started COGNANO to generate new drug designs based on bio-big data. The strategy is AI drug discovery based on the LLM principle using natural antibodies. Current achievements include the discovery of unknown biomarkers using a computer, and many anticancer drugs are already being tested. Also a joint research paper with Google, LLC. was accepted for NeurIPS 2023, the top AI conference. Imura believes that COGNANO has pivoted from bio to IT in the pharma-tech environment.
