Ahmad Jawad is a transportation engineering executive with over 25 years of experience specializing in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV). He currently serves as the Director of Segment Development at Iteris, where he focuses on advancing CAV technologies and shaping the future of smart mobility infrastructure. Prior to joining Iteris, Ahmad held key leadership roles at D2 Traffic Technologies and spent nearly two decades managing complex ITS operations at the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) Michigan. He brings a unique blend of technical and strategic expertise, backed by an M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA from Oakland University and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from National University of Science and Technology Pakistan.
