Lullusfest is one of the oldest folk festivals in Germany, held annually in Bad Hersfeld to honor the city's founder, Archbishop Lullus. The traditional fair features rides, food stalls, and the traditional 'Fierche' fire ceremony. It takes place in the town center over several days around October 16th.
