Herkko Plit, founder and CEO of P2X Solutions, has over three decades of experience in the energy sector. P2X is the first company in Finland to build green hydrogen production facilities. Previously, Plit has held roles including CEO of the state-owned company Baltic Connector Oy, Industrial Counsellor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, and positions at the European Commission and Fortum.

Dr. Jari Saarinen is an experienced technology leader with over 25 years of expertise at the forefront of robotics and automation development. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Saarinen worked as a researcher at Aalto University and Örebro University, where his primary research focus was on developing 3D LiDAR-based navigation methods. He was also a co-founder of Sensible 4, a company dedicated to developing weatherproof Level 4 autonomous driving technology.

Juha Röning is a Professor of Embedded Systems at the University of Oulu. He serves as Vice Chair of the European euRobotics organization and is also a member of the executive board of the AI, Data and Robotics Association (Adra, asbl).

Lundström works at InstituteQ and Aalto University as Executive in Residence, where she supports the implementation of the national quantum strategy and strengthens Finland’s social and economic readiness to take advantage of the opportunities offered by quantum technologies. She has been involved in drafting Finland’s quantum technology strategy and, in her previous role at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, in funding joint quantum computer projects between VTT and IQM, which launched the Finnish quantum computing era and a new wave in the construction of the quantum ecosystem.

Matti Kauhanen leads the Technology Collaboration Office within ABB’s Motion business area, responsible for developing new solutions and expertise in variable speed drives. With over 40 years of experience in electric drive systems, he has held roles such as design engineer and technology director. Kauhanen has contributed to the development of several products and promoted collaboration with research institutes and universities. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering and was awarded an honorary doctorate in technology by Aalto University in 2019.

Prof. Dr. Igor Drstvenšek is a professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor, where he teaches production technologies and leads the Additive Manufacturing Laboratory. His research for over two decades has focused on additive manufacturing in medicine, including the first additively manufactured implant in Slovenia and more than 50 projects on cranial and maxillofacial implants.

Dr. Diego Galar is a Professor of Maintenance at Luleå University of Technology and Chair of EFNMS (European Federation of National Maintenance Societies). He has led numerous European projects in industrial AI, IoT, and Industry 4.0, and has collaborated closely with Swedish industry and the national innovation agency Vinnova. Dr. Galar has published over 500 scientific papers and actively contributes to international networks, committees, and events in the field.

Ohjelmistotuotannon professori Jari Porras tutkii ja opettaa tietotekniikkaa LUT-yliopistossa. Hän on perehtynyt kestävän ICT:n lisäksi erityisesti hajautettujen ja rinnakkaisten järjestelmien vertailuun sekä langattomaan teknologiaan. Porras on palkittu vuonna 2023 Vuoden Tivi-vaikuttajana.

Insinööriprikaatikenraali Juha-Matti Ylitalo on toiminut Puolustusvoimissa 38 vuotisen uran aikana sotilasilmailun kunnossapidon ja hanketoiminnan, materiaalilaitosten ja logistiikkalaitoksen asiantuntija- ja johtotehtävissä sekä HX materiaaliprojektin johtajana. Kohta kolmen vuoden ajan Ylitalo on työskennellyt apulaisjohtajana Puolustusvoimien Logistiikkalaitoksessa.

Lauri Vuohensilta on suorasukainen yrittäjä, jolla on käsittämätön kyky tehdä kaikesta vähän mielenkiintoisempaa – ja vähän vaarallisempaa. Hydraulic Press Channelin perustajana hän on kerännyt maailmanlaajuista mainetta murskaamalla esineitä hydraulipuristimella, mutta kanava on paljon muutakin kuin esineiden tuhoamista. Se on paikka, jossa Lauri haastaa fysiikan, mekaniikan, ja joskus myös järjen rajat tavalla, joka on kerännyt jo lähes 30 miljoonaa tilaajaa ja 7 miljardia katselua pelkästään viime vuonna. Vuohensilta on mukana useissa startup-yrityksissä, joissa yhdistyy hänen innostuksensa teknologiaan ja halu rikkoa perinteisiä rajoja.
