Veronica Duran is the Senior Diversity & Social Inclusion Advisor (Vic/Tas) at CPB Contractors. Her expertise lies in gender, LGBTQAI+ inclusion, and working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations. She joined the construction industry in 2022 as the Diversity and Inclusion Lead for the Spark North East Link project, where she led gender initiatives such as work experience programs, networking events, the Pride Committee, and the setup of nursing and prayer rooms across every site and office of the project, among others. With nearly eight years in the non-profit sector, she focused on employment programs for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Veronica is originally from Mexico City, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology and holds a Master's in Special Education. After migrating to Australia, her career took a 180-degree turn, transforming the challenges she faced in finding employment into her area of expertise. Now she is a passionate advocate for women and migrants, volunteering as an employment mentor for Professional Migrant Women (PMW), sharing her experiences to support and empower others in their professional journeys.

Benni started his career in 1977 as a lawyer, co-founding his law firm Aroni Colman, with his law partner Adrian Colman. The firm grew steadily over 20 years under his direction as Managing Partner, merging with three other firms until 1998 when the firm closed by agreement of partners after an external incident with one of their partners. Benni's focus was commercial law and litigation. In 1999 Benni and his family acquired a major site in Southbank with architect Nonda Katsalidis which became known as Eureka Tower, one of Australia's most iconic and tallest residential buildings. Benni was the Developer's Representative, managing the building of Eureka Tower until its completion in 2005. Since then, Benni's professional career has focussed on all parts of property development, including as a builder, property developer and advisor. Some of these roles have included co-founding Watersun Homes, being one of the developers of landmark residential tower, Australia 108, being Chair of Fender Katsalidis, Architects, chairing a specialist advisory committee for Quintessential Equity as well as being an investment advisor for Wingate property investments. More recently Benni was appointed a Director at Pitcher Partners advising on property development and finance matters, Chair of Hickory, one of Australia's biggest commercial builders as well as being Chair of the Advisory Board of AHB, one of Victoria's biggest home builders.
