Anthony is an experienced professional of over 22 years in the shipping and bunker industry. He started at Shell Shipping as a graduate and during his time there became one of the Senior bunker Managers for the global Shell fleet. Anthony has worked as a broker and then spent 10 years with the GAC Group as Director Bunker Fuels Trading before moving to manage their UK Ship Agency Company. Anthony also has experience in the West Africa market, having spent 2 years as General Manager of Top Fenders Limited, a leading STS (Ship-To-Ship) cargo transfer business. Based in London, Anthony spent a great period of time in Togo and Nigeria meeting clients and service providers. His most recent roles have been back in the bunker industry, as Commercial Manager for a Maltese based physical supplier, before he helped establish the newly formed Marine Fuels Alliance. As the Executive Officer of the MFA, Anthony is responsible for the strategic development and commercial growth of the independent organisation that was created to offer suppliers in the bunker industry a new voice and opportunity to connect with professional partners. The MFA is addressing critical topics such as Sanctions, Compliance, Credit, Alternative Fuels, Fuel Claims and new regulations and legislation.

Sustainable Manager of the Global Engagement and Sustainability Department · Oldendorff Carriers
Jan Kohzer is a Sustainable Manager of the Global Engagement and Sustainability Department at Oldendorff Carriers, where he has been working for the dry bulk owner and operator since 2012. Jan has formerly worked in the Oldendorff Legal and Crewing Department where he led the cadet training program. Now taking care of Oldendorff’s sustainable and industry engagement activities, Jan will be presenting sustainability from a German ship-owner's perspective, and join us on the afternoon panel as well.

Alex has more than 24 years of experience in the Maritime Industry, Ship Supply sector. After graduating from a degree in Oceanography, he began his career working in one of the most important ship suppliers at that moment, based in northwest Spain. He soon moved to the Headquarters of the group in Barcelona. He has covered positions such as General Manager in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where he was stationed for 3 years, as well as Corporate Manager in Houston, USA, for another 3 years. Over the last 15 years Alex has occupied a variety of top management positions related to operations and commercial aspects of the ship supply business as well as Chairman of the Spanish Association of Ship Suppliers for two and a half years. In 2018 Alex became the General Manager of CARMAR, part of Pérez y Cía Group and its division specialized in short shipping logistics (both LCL and FCL). In this time, he has also created CARMAR Maritime Services™. With 15 warehouses across Spain, CARMAR combines the activity of short shipping logistics as well as ship chandler and last mile services to vessels across all the ports of mainland Spain and the Canary and Balearic Islands. In his free time, Alex is an enthusiast of other marine activities, including diving, sailing and being a certified Yachtmaster Ocean.

IRENE ROSBERG is Director of the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics (The Blue MBA) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Europe’s leading institution of its kind. From the beginning, she has been responsible for the design, development and co-ordination of The Blue MBA. On behalf of CBS, she has a fundamental role in building global relationships and networks within the maritime industry. She also promotes research identifying challenges and future issues for the maritime industry as a whole. She is a member of many international boards and committees. Based on her extensive international network and experience, she has been entrusted with major roles in varied maritime-related activities, and speaks at leading maritime events. From 2005 to 2010 Irene was Director of the DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) programme. She is involved in several maritime-related research undertakings and research-based conferences where she draws on expertise from her wide maritime connections, both in terms of academic and industry input. Since 2013 she has been an evaluator for the Association of MBAs (AMBA), which is described as representing “the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education.” In 2014 joined the Board of Advisors for the Panama Maritime. From 2017 to 2021 she was a member of an EU expert group for the motorways of the seas. She is also the Director for the Blue Board Leadership Programme which was established in 2022. She is a Member of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA Programme at the Gdynia Maritime University, and a member of the MBA Industry Advisory Board for the School of Management in the Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences at the University of Bradford (UK). At a recent survey she achieved No. 1 place for the top 100 women in the shipping industry for two consecutive years: 2020 and 2021, thereafter she recused herself from participation in the survey.

Steven Jones brings over 30 years of maritime industry expertise to his role as advocate for the shipping sector. A former seafarer, Steven has worked across maritime fraud investigations, insurance, Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), and maritime security. He leveraged this frontline experience in roles with the UK Government Department for International Trade as a specialist in ports and technology. Motivated by a passion for the sea and desire to bring greater cultural awareness to the shipping world, Steven launched a campaign centred around the concept of “thalassophy” - the study of oceans, seas, and humankind's relationship to them. Through exploring strands of philosophy, international relations, economics, and history, Steven aims to showcase the importance of the maritime industry, seafarers, ships, and ports to society. Steven provides advisory services and speaks internationally to highlight the vital role that seaborne trade, transport, and infrastructure play in connecting the global economy. He believes in promoting sustainability and innovation to ensure the maritime sector continues enabling prosperity worldwide.
