IFPDA Print Fair 2027 Exhibitor List

Judy Hecker, an early supporter of Kentridge’s work, authored Trace (MoMA, 2010), part catalog and part artist book, as an accompaniment to the presentation of William Kentridge: Five Themes at MoMA -- the first comprehensive survey of the artist’s career presented in New York. Hecker currently serves as Executive Director of Print Center New York.

Jillian Ross is a collaborative master printer based in Saskatoon, Canada. Ross began working at the David Krut Workshop (Johannesburg, South Africa) in 2003 where she became one of William Kentridge’s primary print collaborators, completing some of Kentridge’s most ambitious print projects including: The Universal Archive, the Triumphs and Laments woodcut series, and most recently the Studio Life photogravures. Ross was responsible for implementing the two works on view, loaned by David Krut.

Sanders has been involved with the David Krut Workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa since 2008 where he has served as an advisor to many of the monumental projects published with Kentridge. Remembering is the Effort, a catalog raisonné of the works of Kentridge published by David Krut over the past 30 years, authored by Phil Sanders and Jacqueline Flint, is due out this fall. Sanders authored Prints and Their Makers, winner of the 2021 IFPDA Book Award.

Christiane Baumgartner is best known for her monumental woodcuts based on her own film and video stills. Her work may be found in major public collections around the world including the Albertina, Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, (Boston); Hammer Museum, and National Gallery Victoria, Australia. Christiane lives and works in Leipzig, Germany.

Elizabeth Rudy is the Carl A. Weyerhaeuser Curator of Prints, in the Division of European and American Art at Harvard Art Museums. Elizabeth is responsible for the museum’s print collection, which spans the Renaissance to the contemporary era. Her research focuses on prints of the 18th and 19th centuries, with particular interests in etching, book illustration, and works by the artist Pierre-Paul Prud’hon.

Nikki Otten is associate curator of prints and drawings at the Milwaukee Art Museum, where she is responsible for a collection of works on paper that spans the 15th to the 21st century. Since being appointed to her role in 2018, she has curated the major exhibitions Currents 39: LaToya M. Hobbs, Carving Out Time; Always New: The Posters of Jules Chéret; and Landfall Press: Five Decades of Printmaking.

Lauren Rosenblum is the Jensen Bryan Curator at The Print Center, Philadelphia and a doctoral candidate in art history at The Graduate Center, City University of New York.

Christina Weyl is an independent scholar and curator. She is the author of The Women of Atelier 17: Modernist Printmaking in Midcentury New York.

Holly Borham is Associate Curator of Prints, Drawings, and European Art at the Blanton Museum of Art, where she has curated a range of exhibitions on the graphic arts from the 16th through 21st centuries.

One of today’s most influential artists, Mickalene Thomas ’ practice has yielded instantly recognizable aesthetic languages through her mixed-media paintings, photographs, films, and installations which explore the complexities of black and female identities within the Western canon. Her work has been the subject of recent solo exhibitions at The Broad Museum, Barnes Foundation, and Hayward Gallery.

Jordan D. Schnitzer recognized globally for making his collection of over 22,000 prints, paintings, and sculptures widely accessible through touring exhibitions and publications. Founded in 1997, the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation has presented over 180 exhibitions in partnership with 120+ museums, introducing major artists to audiences across the country.
