Educated in Dublin, Andrew is a Director of Allies and Morrison (AAM), an architectural practice headquartered in London with offices in Dublin. Andrew has led AAM's education portfolio in the UK for the last 10 years, with a particular focus on creating buildings in heritage campuses. AAM have a rich and award-winning history in the creation of buildings, urban design and masterplanning. 

<p>Alex is an Associate Architect specializing in education design, with a particular focus on inclusive environments and SEND provision. Alex&rsquo;s work is informed by contemporary pedagogical principles, including child‑centered learning, Universal Design for Learning, and the relationship between space, behavior, and wellbeing.</p> <p>With experience supporting the Department of &nbsp;Education and Youth across multiple projects, Alex contributes to spatial planning and technical delivery that align educational vision with built outcomes. A strong advocate for sensory‑considerate, accessible, and adaptable learning environments, Alex focuses on creating educational settings that support diverse learning styles, promote independence, and enable positive educational experiences. Alex brings a thoughtful, evidence‑led approach to designing education spaces that genuinely support teaching, learning, and inclusion.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Charles Mitchell is the Senior Quantity Surveying Technical Advisor to the Office of Government Procurement and a Government observer to the Agreed Rules of Measurement (ARM) Committee. Charles is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with more than 20 years&rsquo; experience within the construction sector. Previously a member of the (SCSI)Quantity Surveying professional group, Charles was involved in numerous working groups including the Mechanical and Electrical working groups and is currently a representative to the Standard Setting Committee of the International Cost Management Standards (ICMS). Charles was also a lecturer in TUDublin, specialising in Quantification and Costing of construction project, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

<p>Hugh Campbell, an industry expert with 16 years of extensive experience in construction management across tier 1 to 3 builds, has honed his skills to drive operational excellence and innovation. Having owned his own construction business and immersed himself in the construction software space for four years, Hugh possesses a multifaceted understanding of the industry's dynamics.&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> As the host of the AI and Future of Construction FinTech workshop, he leverages his expertise to foster discussions and insights that propel the construction sector into the realm of AI-driven innovation, shaping its future landscape.</p>

<p>Hubert Loftus is a career civil servant with over 30 years&rsquo; experience in various management roles in the Department of Education and Youth. He is an Assistant Secretary General and is Head of the Planning and Building Unit in the Department since October 2017.</p> <p>He leads the work of the Planning and Building Unit which is responsible for the identification and delivery of current and future infrastructure requirements in the primary and post primary education sector as part of the Government&rsquo;s &euro;7.55 billion capital investment programme under the National Development Plan 2026 &ndash; 2030.</p>
