Viking was founded 51 years ago as a call center and BPO provider. John O’Shea joined as President in 2011. Through John’s leadership, Viking’s payment processing service has grown 600% over the last 6 years. Today, they provide Debit Card, ACH and RCC processing to small dollar lenders. Their deep understanding of this vertical, coupled with their reliable and robust platform, have positioned Viking as a leader in the payments processing industry. John is a former owner of Triad Financial Services. After a successful sale of the business, he served in similar roles at General Motors Mortgage, AllianceOne and ICT Group. John is a member of the Third Party Payment Processors Association and OLA, and serves on the Payments Advisory Committee. He has led innovative, high-performing companies for 30 years as a senior executive focused on Payments, Customer Contact and BPO markets. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College.

Brian joined the BPF in November 2022 as Director of Plastics and Flexible packaging and also runs a consultancy on sustainable plastic packaging. He has a degree in Industrial Design, an Institute of Packaging diploma in Packaging Technology and over forty years of experience working on the development of plastic packaging.

Dr Jean-Yves Cherruault is Head of International Business Development at Centrica Business Solutions. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and over 15 years’ experience delivering large scale decarbonisation and energy resilience projects across sectors including manufacturing, defense, and data centres, he brings a rare combination of technical expertise and strategic vision. Lee Cameron is VP of Product at OctaiPipe, where he leads the development of AI solutions that enable safe, secure and sustainable digital infrastructure. With over 12 years of experience applying advanced analytics and machine learning in renewable energy, grid flexibility and energy efficiency, he now brings this expertise to optimising cooling in data centres.

Harry Wright is Regional Sales Manager for Siemens in the UK and Ireland. He specializes in high-pressure water mist fire protection and leads technical projects for data center clients, delivering expert guidance and documentation.

John is a third-generation farmer and the COO of DSI, Inc in Goodfield, IL

Bobby Smith is Head of Energy Storage Ireland, a representative body for the energy storage industry in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Since 2019, Bobby has worked with ESI members and policy makers to promote the development of energy storage on the island. In previous roles, Bobby worked as Grid Manager in Wind Energy Ireland and as an analyst in the Commission for Regulation of Utilities where he was involved in areas such as electricity networks policy, security of supply and the development of the DS3 ancillary services market arrangements.
