Dr Kostas Karagiannopoulos BDS MClinDent Kostas is an experienced specialist prosthodontist, an academic and a researcher. He has been involved in academia since 2008 and is now a Clinical Lecturer at University College London. He leads Bio-Emulation in the UK, an international group of dentists united by the drive to preserve and restore dental tissues using nature as a guide. He co-founded Prosthoworks delivering advanced private prosthodontic education since 2021. His areas of interests are fully guided composites, managing the worn dentition and naturally looking prostheses. He also works in specialist practice limited to Prosthodontics in the London area. 

<p>Joanna graduated with honours from Bristol, and after a year working in practice in the Lake District came to Devon to do a year&rsquo;s oral surgery training at the RD&amp;E. After achieving Diplomas from the Royal College of Surgeons and Bristol University in the field of General Practice, she was a founding partner in an innovative new, out-of-town all female, private practice in Exeter. After 10 years, she left practice ownership to continue further post graduate studies at Bristol, achieving a distinction at diploma level in Dental Implants in 2016 and in 2018 was awarded a Master&rsquo;s degree in Restorative Dentistry with Merit from the University of Plymouth. She has been involved in teaching undergraduate dental students at Peninsula dental school.</p> <p>She on the board of the ADI and ITI implant groups, the Devon Independent practitioners&rsquo; group, Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), and the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD). This keeps her busy but up to date with modern practice.</p> <p>Her passion is to work with you to improve and maintain all aspects of your oral health and to provide you with the highest quality care and service.</p> <p>Her areas of interest include the provision of care for anxious patients requiring dental sedation, comprehensive care involving cosmetic or functional rehabilitation of your smile and the replacement of missing teeth/ stabilising dentures with dental implant treatment options.</p>

<p>Rakhee is Deputy Chief Dental Officer England, and is also a clinical academic working as a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant at Kings College London.</p> <p>Rakhee qualified from Cardiff University in 2006, and has since worked across general dental services, community, hospital and academia, with a clinical focus on gerodontology and domiciliary care. To pursue a career in Dental Public Health she completed a master&rsquo;s in dental public health in 2010 and commenced an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship and Specialist Training post training in Bristol and London.</p> <p>From 2016- 2024, Rakhee worked as a Consultant in Dental Public Health at Public Health England / NHSE England alongside her role at King&rsquo;s College London. In 2023, Rakhee was awarded a PhD in Health Services Research, having secured an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship Grant to undertake one of the first dental clinical trials in care homes. Rakhee has a strong focus on education and has held undergraduate and postgraduate teaching roles throughout her career and is currently the Dental Public Health undergraduate lead at KCL. Nationally, she is an examiner for the Oversees Registration Examination and the Royal College of Surgeons England Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination.</p> <p>Rakhee is impact driven, and her chief areas of interest academically and in service are prevention of oral disease, innovation in care delivery and the integration of oral health across health and social care with a focus on healthy ageing.</p>

Payman has developed several whitening systems being used by dentists all over the world including Enlighten, the only whitening system in the world to guarantee results.

<p>Dr. Varkha Rattu graduated with from Queen Mary, University of London in 2018. She then pursued the 4-year part-time Master&rsquo;s in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Periodontology at King&rsquo;s College London which she completed in 2025 with distinction. She has extensive experience in both practice and hospital settings, where her commitment to clinical excellence has been recognised with several awards. Actively engaged in periodontal research, she has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, serves as a reviewer, and was awarded the prestigious British Society of Periodontology Systematic Review Prize. Mentored by Professor Luigi Nibali, Dr. Rattu has developed significant expertise in minimally invasive non-surgical therapy (MINST) and lectures national and internationally. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Iain Chapple is former Director of Research for the Institute of Clinical Sciences (2016-2022), former Head/Dean of the Dental School (2016-2020) at Birmingham University UK. He has written 13-textbooks and 35-chapters, published &gt;320 scientific papers and was recognised (2025) by Clarivate in their global highly cited researcher list (top 0.1%). Iain was: IADR Periodontal Research Group President (2006-7); European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) Treasurer (2007-2013), Workshop co-chair (2008-current), Scientific Advisory Committee Chair (2013-2016), Secretary General (2016-2019); BSP President (2014-2015). He was awarded: The Royal College of Surgeons Tomes medal (2011); IADR Distinguished Scientist (2018); EFP Eminence Award (2022) and was awarded an MBE in the 2022 Queens New Year&rsquo;s Honour&rsquo;s. He leads a national service for adults with Epidermolysis Bullosa. Iain lectures all over the world on a range of topics related to periodontal diseases but has a strong interest in mechanisms underpinning periodontal-systemic disease links and in immune-microbial interactions.</p>

<p>Eva&nbsp;has been a project manager at SOS UK for one and a half years, working on Green Impact and Green Campus Revolution.&nbsp;Eva&nbsp;oversees the day to day running of the dentistry programme, as well as the health programme and individual universities and NHS sites. Her background is in sustainability at universities and the student movement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kristen has over 20 years of experience in business operations, strategy development and deployment, process improvement, project management, solution architecture and implementation for business initiatives. She has proven success in project leadership, organizational change management, strategic communications, technology systems implementation and innovation. She has adapted her skills across a range of industries, engaging with colleagues at every level, analyzing organizational processes and practices, and then designing and implementing improvements that drive measurable results. She is an experienced leader, specialized in team building and development, pulling together core teams to inform and validate business process improvement and innovation initiatives. Kristen has the proven ability to quickly understand and articulate business challenges, design an approach to enable change, execute and deliver results.</p>

<p>Munther Sulieman LDS RCS (Eng) BDS (Lond) MSc PhD, is an experienced private dental practitioner with a special interest in Composite Layering, Tooth Whitening and Tooth Discolouration.</p> <p>Part-Time Clinical Teacher&nbsp;Institute of Dentistry&nbsp;Bart&rsquo;s and The London Medical and Dental School&nbsp;Queen Mary University of London&nbsp;</p> <p>He ran a successful Private practice in Wimbledon for 28 years and held research posts at Bristol Dental School and Guy&rsquo;s Dental Institute.&nbsp; International postgraduate lecturer for over 25 years.</p>
