Dennis has forged a career in a variety of engineering roles, from metrology, quality control, through to automotive safety testing. As part of rFpro’s expert team, he’s enabling the world’s largest car manufacturers, tier one suppliers and sensor developers to utilise simulation to advance their ADAS and autonomous vehicle technologies and vehicle dynamics development. Nikunjbhai Karoliya is a lead mechanical engineer with nearly 20 years of automotive design experience. As lead engineer at Pebble Mobility, he focuses on structural design and component integration. Previously, as lead closure engineer at Lucid Motors for over three years, he developed closure systems for Lucid Air models, implementing DFMA and cost-reduction strategies. His career includes significant roles at Honda R&D on the 2017 Honda Odyssey and 2021 Acura TLX projects, specializing in door systems. He also contributed to projects at RLE International, Tata Technologies and Tata Motors. Karoliya holds degrees in mechanical engineering. Currently, as a lead mechanical engineer at Gatik.ai, he is responsible for the mechanical structure supporting autonomous driving hardware such as cameras and lidars, along with cost-reduction activities during production launch.

Following his physics PhD from Heidelberg University in 2017, Jan Jongmanns worked as a postdoctoral researcher before leaving science in 2020.
