David Eagleman is one of the world's foremost neuroscientists, a bestselling author, and an entrepreneur who is creating the technologies of tomorrow, today. He is the writer and presenter of the international PBS series, The Brain with David Eagleman, as well as The Creative Brain on Netflix. David is also the host of one of the top science podcasts in North America, Inner Cosmos. It has reached the #1 spot on the Apple most-listened science podcasts ranking, as well as the top 10 most-listened overall. David is also the bestselling author of several books. His most recent book, Livewired: The Inside Story of the Ever-Changing Brain, explores the brain's remarkable ability to rewire itself throughout our lives. He was the writer and host of PBS' Emmy-nominated series, The Brain with David Eagleman, as well as the host and writer of Netflix's The Creative Brain. He was also the scientific advisor on HBO's Westworld.

Tom Koulopoulos is chairman and founder of Delphi Group, a Boston-based think tank with more than 30 years of influence on how organizations adapt to change, and a founding partner of Acrovantage Ventures, which invests in early-stage technology startups. Over a career spanning four decades, Tom has served as executive director of the Babson College Center for Business Innovation, director of the Dell Innovation Lab and professor at Boston University. Drawing from his latest book, Gigatrends, Tom will explore the most powerful technological forces reshaping how we live, work and do business in the 21st century.

<p>As the Executive Director for the Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD) Karl is responsible for all activities at OPCD. OPCD provides the Emergency Communications Center for Orleans Parish, Louisiana, USA (nee the City of New Orleans). OPCD answers more than 650,000 9-1-1, 3-1-1, and non-emergency calls annually; these calls result in dispatching more than 500,000 incidents per year for police, fire, and EMS responses. Prior to joining OPCD, Karl enjoyed a successful career as a commercial software developer in the financial services sector. In his 20+ year career at OPCD, Karl led the rebuilding of New Orleans; 9-1-1 system following Hurricane Katrina; the design and completion of the current ECC facility; OPCD&rsquo;s move to a cloud-native 9-1-1 telephony system; and numerous other technology projects. In 2023, as Karl expected to retire from his previous position as Director of Technology, OPCD&rsquo;s Board of Commissioners asked him to become OPCD's&nbsp; Interim Executive Director to navigate the agency through a difficult transition period. After several months of Karl&rsquo;s leadership and crisis management, the OPCD Board then voted to fully install him as Executive Director.</p>
