Former U.S. Navy SEAL, ultramarathoner and triathlete. He is the only member of the U.S. military to complete SEALs training, the U.S. Army Ranger School and the U.S. Air Force’s Tactical Air Controller training. He grew up in an abusive household, barely graduated from high school and struggled with serious health issues. After several friends died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan in 2005, he took up long-distance running to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
