"Time Warp: mixing period art with contemporary interiors, and vice versa"

Bio

Chris Ann Goddard has spent the last decade working at the intersection of materials innovation, sustainability, and communications, partnering with the companies that are quietly rewriting the rules of how the apparel and outdoor industries think about what products are made from, and what happens to them after. She and her team at CGPR have built deep relationships across the component and sustainability world, working with forward-thinking brands including Reju, CICLO Textiles, LifeLabs, and Tersus Solutions, companies that are not just talking about a more sustainable future, but actively building it. Most notably, CGPR has been a key part of the global PR team behind the launch of Reju, a textile-to-textile regeneration company, owned by Technip Energies and built on technology developed with IBM Research, that is establishing regeneration hubs around the world to transform post-consumer polyester waste back into high-quality, like-new fiber. It is one of the most significant circularity stories in the industry right now, and Chris and her team have been there from day one helping shape how the world understands what Reju is building and why it matters. That work sits inside a much longer story. Chris founded CGPR in 1993 out of her home in Marblehead, Massachusetts, with a simple belief: do work you love, for brands you believe in. Over 30+ years, that belief has shaped one of the most respected active lifestyle and outdoor PR agencies in the country with a client roster that spans performance footwear, technical apparel, gear, and the trade events and organizations that hold the industry together. Before launching CGPR, Chris spent time in Washington, D.C., lobbying on energy, conservation, and urban recreation for the Mayor of New York, and serving in the White House Office of Congressional Liaison for the Department of Interior. That policy foundation has never left her. It informs how she thinks about industry issues, sustainability regulation, and the broader forces shaping the future of the brands with whom she works. Chris is an active member of the Outdoor Industry Association and the Conservation Alliance, and she writes and speaks regularly on the issues that matter most to this industry from circularity and material innovation to public lands, women's leadership, and the future of trade. She is a sailor, a cyclist, a skier, and a lifelong believer that getting people outside and protecting the places they go changes everything. CGPR is now part of the Off Madison Ave family — bringing together outdoor PR depth, destination storytelling, and behavioral marketing under one roof.
