Tom Evans

Professional Trail Runner · ASICS Trail Team

Bio

Tom Evans is one of the biggest names in trail running today. In 2025 he won the legendary UTMB in brutal alpine conditions, finishing in 19:18:58 to become the first British man to take the title in almost twenty years. It was a defining moment for the former British Army captain who has built his career on discipline, resilience, and smart racing. Tom first caught attention in 2017 when he surprised the ultra running community by finishing third at the Marathon des Sables, his first major race. From there he went on to win CCC at UTMB in 2018, run the fastest non-American time at Western States in 2019, and after recovering from knee surgery, return to win Western States outright in 2023. He is known for his methodical approach, consistent pacing, and calm head under pressure. Tom runs for the ASICS Trail Team and splits his training between the UK and the Alps.

Carl Lewis

Bio

Carl Lewis is one of the most decorated and iconic athletes in track and field history. Over a career that spanned nearly two decades, Lewis won 9 Olympic gold medals and 1 silver across four Games (1984–1996), dominating in events like the 100m, 200m, and long jump. Known for his unmatched speed and consistency, he helped redefine what was possible in athletics and became a global ambassador for the sport. Lewis began training seriously as a teenager and quickly rose to prominence. His performance at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics—winning four gold medals at 23 years old, solidified his place in history. Today, Carl Lewis continues to inspire as a coach at the University of Houston, mentoring the next generation of track stars. He’s also active in social and youth development causes, using his platform to promote education, health, and opportunity through sport.

Phily Bowden

Bio

Phily Bowden is an elite runner, coach, and online communicator. She has represented her country across multiple formats, and in 2024 ran one of the fastest marathons ever by a British woman, clocking 2:25. She now has her sights set on competing at the LA Olympics in 2028. Phily also uses her experience and platform to communicate about distance running, sharing aspects of elite training with the public and offering advice on how to be faster, run longer or simply grow more comfortable in our bodies. Her followers turn to her for advice and insight, but also for entertainment, as she documents her pursuit of improved performance and elite times. Through the highs and the lows she educates and inspires runners of all levels, encouraging us to get better and find joy in the process. Phily is a unique voice in the running space, a gifted storyteller and coach, the running buddy that we all want. Authentic, energetic and dedicated, we all need a friend like Phily and thanks to her work across her platforms, we get to have her as our coach too.

Laura Muir

Bio

Laura Muir (born May 9, 1993) One of Scotland and the UK’s most successful Middle-Distance athlete. Specialises in the 1500m, Laura is one of Britain’s most accomplished athletes, known for her fierce racing style, endurance, and tactical racing brain With an Olympic silver medal and 5 European Championship gold medals to her name, Laura has cemented herself at the top of the ranks within British sporting royalty. Muir’s breakthrough came in 2016, when she broke the British 1500m record, previously held by Dame Kelly Holmes. Having balanced the pressures of running track at the highest level with studying veterinary medicine at the University of Glasgow for seven years, she graduated as Doctor Laura Muir in the summer of 2018. She continues to play an active role in animal welfare as an ambassador for the SSPCA.
