With over 25 years of experience in supply chain optimisation, Andrew Southgate is a passionate leader in digital transformation for distribution operations. Originally trained as a physicist, he discovered his true calling while solving complex logistics challenges for retail distribution. Since then, he has worked with hundreds of distribution centers worldwide, developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to drive efficiency and growth. Andrew specialises in warehouse optimisation, enterprise supply chain software, and international business development. A strategic thinker and mentor, he excels in bringing ideas together, influencing outcomes, and scaling for success in an ever-evolving supply chain landscape.

I am a Senior Lecturer at Engineering School in the College of Arts, Technology and Environment, University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol, UK. I hold&nbsp;M.Sc. in Biology and a PhD in Environmental Engineering and most of my research is affiliated with Bristol Robotics Laboratory. With diverse background spanning across biology, electrochemistry and engineering, I investigate bioelectrochemical systems for converting waste into power.

<p>Dr Seemal Asif is Cranfield University's Control Lead on an ATI-funded Airbus project and leads the IFRA research group, specialising in industrial robotics, integration, and human-centred automation. With experience across academia and industry, she focuses on robotic path correction, imitation learning, and coordinated swarm communication. As Co-Investigator on multiple EPSRC-funded projects, she contributes to developing frameworks that embed human factors into responsive manufacturing and human-robot collaboration. Her work prioritises solving real-world industrial challenges while ensuring operator safety and well-being. Seemal is also a residency fellow with the AMRC (2023&ndash;2026), reflecting her recognised expertise in the field.</p>

Farhad Aghayev is a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh, working on Quantitative Modelling of Cognitive Functions Using Artificial Intelligence. His research lies at the intersection of AI, cognitive science, and robotics, with a focus on perception, learning, and decision-making under uncertainty in dynamic environments. He develops computational models and intelligent systems inspired by human cognition, with applications to autonomous systems, human&ndash;robot interaction, and real-world decision-making in complex settings.

Professor Amir Ghalamzan-Esfahani is an Associate Professor of Robotics at the University of Sheffield and Theme Lead for Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Centre for Machine Intelligence. His research focuses on embodied AI, robotic manipulation, tactile sensing, and predictive world models that enable robots to operate safely and autonomously in real-world environments. He has led research across manufacturing, healthcare, and hazardous robotics, and his work has been published in leading journals including&nbsp;Nature Machine Intelligence&nbsp;and IEEE Transactions.
