Bio

Ton Sern&eacute; is a mechanical engineer and veteran motorsport professional with decades of experience in vehicle dynamics. He has worked as a race mechanic in various Formula series, including Formula 1 with the Boro team, and managed the Bross F3 team to victory in the 1987 EFDA Cup. He has raced in Formula Ford and saloon cars, and has contributed to GT4 development projects. Ton lectures in Vehicle Dynamics at Dutch universities and mentors young drivers at the KNAF Talent First Academy, where he&rsquo;s helped develop talents such as Max Verstappen, Rinus Veekay, and Le Mans winner Job van Uitert.

Dr Temoc Rodriguez obtained his PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has worked in the field of power conversion for over 20 years, and he is currently global technical expert of electrified systems at Ricardo. He is currently leading electrification developments in automotive and aerospace programs, including wide bandgap semiconductor propulsion inverters and highly integrated on-board chargers and DC-DC converters, and high-performance battery systems. He also leads R&D, innovation and strategy for electric propulsion at Ricardo.

Bio

George Mavros is a Professor of Intelligent Mobility and Vehicle Dynamics at the Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering Department at Loughborough University, where he has also served as Head of Department. George has led numerous research projects funded by UK research councils and the industry and has worked as technical manager for Simpack UK &ndash; Dassault Systemes. His research interests include physical and data-based tyre modelling, tyre testing and their application in vehicle dynamics. George has worked extensively with motorsport partners and tyre-testing houses on the topics of tyre-road friction and tyre model parameterisation and has delivered talks, seminars and workshops to audiences from academia and the industry.

With a background in engineering and a passion for sustainable innovation, Anton manages a team of over 70 KU Leuven students who are designing and building a hydrogen-powered race car with the ambitious goal of competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by 2030.

Passionate about automotive design and innovation, Gerard is driven by the mantra that 'success is a journey, not a destination'.

Since 2015, Ralf has been in charge of global business development at Nikon SLM Solutions. He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive supply industry. Prior to joining Nikon SLM, Ralf was the sales director for Micro-Poise Measurement Systems, which is a global leader in tire testing and x-ray machines.

Olav van Grinsven, 22, is a recent graduate of TU Delft, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. For his thesis he did a parametric analysis of subsea pumped hydro storage performance. With a passion for motorsport and a keen interest in the energy transition, van Grinsven joined Forze Hydrogen Racing in August 2025 as chief engineer, contributing to hydrogen-powered racing solutions.

Raj Singh Panesar is currently the Technical Lead for Metal Additive Manufacturing at Red Bull Ford Powertrains with over 12 years of experience in high performance engineering industries. Raj joined Red Bull Ford Powertrains in 2022 as a Materials Engineer and has been collaborating with Ford Racing since 2023 as part of the technical partnership for the 2026 Formula 1 season. Raj has pushed the boundaries of Metal AM, redefining what is possible and finding solutions to add more performance across all areas of the Powertrain.

Dr Jan Tremel is the founder of the center of competence for additive manufacturing at Bosch Power Systems. Within his work he is evolving the typical process chains for additive manufacturing in Bosch's production portfolio. One of his latest projects involved establishing a collaboration with Nikon SLM Solutions that led to the installation of the first automotive Tier 1 NXG600 system at Bosch.
