Dr Carlos López-Gómez is the head of Policy Links, IfM Engage, University of Cambridge. Policy Links is a not-for-profit innovation consultancy unit that works with governments to develop effective industrial innovation policies. Carlos has extensive research and advisory experience in the fields of industrial and innovation policy. He has advised several national and regional governments as well as international organisations including UNIDO, OECD, ADB, UNCTAD and the World Economic Forum. He has published in academic journals, international organization reports, and specialised magazines. Carlos started his career with quality control and automation engineering roles at Toyota and General Electric, and has work experience in Japan, Austria, Mexico and the UK. In 2015, he was seconded at Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and was a visiting researcher at the Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo. Carlos holds a PhD in industrial and innovation policy from the University of Cambridge. He is a member of Downing College and Churchill College.

<p>Zubaida Nila is a Virtual Production Researcher, Unreal Technical Artist, and Epic Games's recognised Unreal Engine Authorised Instructor Partner. She bridges real time technologies and academia additionally, conducting workshops, training, and mentoring creators worldwide. She also was part of the winning team on the IMDA&ndash;Unreal Virtual Production Challenge 2023, as the first visual creator representing Malaysia in Epic Women creators programme 2022 she has been featured in TV3, IGN, and various Southeast Asia News.</p>

Wayne is a seasoned professional with over three decades of expertise in the Media Entertainment, Broadcast/TV industries. His versatile background includes impactful roles within TV stations, manufacturing, and system integration, specializing in sales solutions. Wayne has a global perspective, executing projects in diverse regions, including APAC and the Middle East. Proficient in system design, project planning, and system programming, Wayne's career took an exciting turn in 2021 when he immersed himself in xR/VP and LBX projects at Disguise. Some notable recent endeavors include significant contributions to projects at Samsung EBC Centre, HKDI VP Stage, and RTHK xR Studio. Combining his skills in engineering, project management, and technical sales, Wayne excels in project leadership, stakeholder satisfaction, and adeptly resolving challenges to achieve project success.

<p>Kok Chin (&ldquo;KC&rdquo;) is generally acknowledged as a global thought leader for Smart Cities. He is a member of the Advisory Board since 2020 for ESI ThoughtLab, a think-tank based in Philadelphia, US.&nbsp;He is Founding Chairman of Smart Cities Network (SCN), a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 2018 with a membership of professionals who are either consultants or solution providers. In June 2022, he led SCN into a strategic partnership via an MOU with UN Habitat as the Implementation Partner for the Cities Investment Facility. The goal is to help identify and scope &ldquo;bankable projects&rdquo; for participating cities.</p> <p>cCurrently, at the government level, KC is the Smart City Advisor and Capacity Builder for the Philippines Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and supported the development of a national movement for Smart and Sustainable Cities, with 4 identified regions and cities.&nbsp;He was the Executive Director (ASEAN) of Smart Cities Council, the largest ecosystem of stakeholders in the world with over 600 cities in their network</p>

Carol is the Total Workplace Lead for Cushman & Wakefield, Global Occupier Services, Asia Pacific. She has more than 20 years’ experience leading workplace programs for MNCs in APAC including end to end program management, designing & developing workplace change management programs, managing communication strategies & processes internally across all organization hierarchies. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Workplace Strategy and Change Management, Carol works with her team to design, develop and implement consistent methodologies as well as processes across APAC and amongst local workplace practitioners. She acts as governance to ensure that Cushman & Wakefield provides consistent experience and deliverables to all clients across regions and leverage on global best practice.

<p>YEOW Shin We is the Chief Technology Officer at Anewtech Systems (anewtech.ai), where he leads the company&rsquo;s AI and Digital practices. He also spearheads the R&amp;D of the Aitom AI Agent platform, which delivers AI agents designed to augment human roles across the training, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing industries.<br /> <br /> Shin We is an active contributor to various technology associations and digitalization committees. He served as Honorary Secretary on the Executive Council of AutomationSG for six years and was the Technology Adviser for the Airhub.ai initiative. He has also participated in digitalization committees under SCCCI, BCA Green Mark, MDA, and IDA.<br /> <br /> A seasoned technology trainer and speaker, Shin We has extensive experience conducting programs for enterprises and educational institutions. He was formerly a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, and has delivered professional lectures on IoT, Digital Twins, Smart Cities, and Artificial Intelligence to institutes of higher learning, government agencies, business associations, MNCs, and SMEs across Asia.</p>
