Having being involved with SPACE from the outset, he is excited to see the brand grow and develop.

Drawn to the stories behind these spaces, she naturally transitioned into the editorial team, creating social media and editorial content. Fun fact: When not working, Jess can usually be found tending to her kitchen garden in the Sussex countryside or foraging for herbs in the nearby woods. A keen grower, she recently studied a RHS Level 2 Diploma in the Principles of Horticulture during her spare time. Work highlights: Jess joined SPACE magazine in 2022 and has since progressed from Assistant Editor to Editor. During this time, she has worked across many aspects of the publication – from shaping editorial strategy and overseeing operations to contributing to art direction and representing the brand on stage at industry events including Surface Design Show and WOW!house. Alongside her role at SPACE, Jess has built a creative career spanning the arts, culture, design and travel sectors. Prior to joining the magazine, she spent more than a decade in the commercial art industry, in artist liaison, gallery management, and curating collections for the hospitality sector across hotels and cruise ships. During this time, she also worked on freelance projects as a writer, photographer, and creative content producer. Jess studied photojournalism at London College of Communication and the Danish School of Media and Journalism and holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Culture, Criticism and Curation from Central Saint Martins.

Work highlights: Katy has been with Hotel Designs since the beginning, way back in 2015 when Forum Events & Media Group acquired the brand. During this time, she has fostered many meaningful relationships with clients from across the hospitality spectrum, as well as playing a pivotal role in the launch of The Brit List Awards, Hotel Designs MEET UPs, client-led roundtables and panel talks, brand and website redesigns, HD Wellness Sets, DESIGN POD podcast, Hotel Designs LIVE panel talk series, Accessible Design Talks and more. Yasmin lives in Cambridgeshire and her practical advice and quirky colourful style is popular with clients across the county and further afield. She is keen to promote sourcing from UK based businesses whenever possible and supports the maker community. To help her clients find a suitable maker, and to provide a service to the interior design profession, Yasmin set up Select a Maker Ltd in 2015. This is an online directory of UK designer-makers who accept commissions in the interiors and gardens sector. With the aim to support and grow the UK’s bespoke market the site is quickly establishing itself as a comprehensive resource. Yasmin is regularly engaged as a speaker and writes a monthly column for HouzzUK. Her online activity has gained her a number of accolades and she is listed in the Top 100 Design Influencers by Decorex International.

<p>Sally Storey is one of the country’s leading lighting experts. Having been awarded a scholarship to study architecture at Bristol University, Sally realised the power of light on space and people's perceptions. Under the tutelage of John Cullen, a pioneer in the modern lighting industry in the UK, she quickly became a respected lighting design specialist. After his untimely death, Sally went on to lead his company and founded Lighting Design International in 1986 after seeing a demand for independent lighting design consultancy within the growing domestic and commercial sectors.</p> <p>For over 30 years Sally has guided the company, gathering a talented team of designers from a variety of design backgrounds, including architecture, theatre design, fine art, product design and engineering. This creative and passionate team are always pushing the boundaries of technology and design to create outstanding spaces and memorable experiences.</p> <p>Sally's passion for light is as active as ever and she continues to travel all over the world designing lighting schemes for esteemed brands, individuals and corporate clients. She has written three well-received books on lighting and often contributes to national and international press. She is a regular <a href="http://www.lightingdesigninternational.com/news/talks">speaker</a> and judge at many leading design events, conferences and awards including the Monaco Yacht Show. </p>
