Shawn has over 16 years of experience as a Gifted Coordinator, Director of Organizational Development, and Assistant Superintendent with the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center in Ohio. The MRESC serves 17 member districts across three counties in rural west central Ohio.

Dr. Nicole W. Adell is an innovative leader with expertise in instructional design that integrates emerging technology and drives organizational change. She is dedicated to promoting equitable, student-centered learning and has conducted research in Youth Culture (YC), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and culturally responsive practices. Dr. Adell has 25 years of experience as an English teacher and in secondary-level administration, primarily in large, urban school districts. In the AI literacy space, Dr. Adell supports practitioners in understanding, analyzing, and using artificial intelligence to enhance teaching and learning.

Jennifer Eakin Womble is a nationally recognized leader in education and technology, dedicated to advancing professional development and innovation in the edtech space. Since 2010, she has served as the Conference Chair for the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC)—the largest independent edtech conference in North America—curating high-impact events and professional learning experiences. She also leads the FETC Webinar Series and contributes to District Administration magazine. A nationally recognized speaker, Jennifer has been honored as an EdTech and eLearning Top Influencer, an EdTech Digest Leadership Award recipient, and a judge for the District Administration Top EdTech Products and Reimagine Education Awards. Previously, Jennifer spent 17 years as a National Board-Certified Teacher, advocating for innovative instructional practices. She has served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, Communities in Schools, iTeach, and the Human Intelligence Movement. A Leadership Florida Education Class 9 member, she has been recognized among the Tallahassee Democrat’s 25 Women You Should Know and awarded Tallahassee State College’s Outstanding Community Woman Award. A proud Florida State University graduate, she remains active in the FSU community, inspiring the future of education through technology.

Dr. Al Lewis is an award-winning superintendent and nationally recognized voice on people-centered leadership and school transformation. An alumnus and former goaltender for Rowan University, Dr. Lewis combines innovation and heart to close achievement gaps, expand student opportunities, and strengthen school communities. Now leading Glassboro Public Schools in New Jersey, he is spearheading ambitious initiatives focused on instructional excellence, equity, and college and career pathways in collaboration with Rowan University and local partners.

Ainsley Hill is an Instructional Technology Facilitator at Arlington Community Schools in Arlington, Tennessee, where she is dedicated to promoting innovation, collaboration, and excellence in education. With a passion for empowering educators and students alike, she provides engaging professional development, personalized coaching, and ongoing support to integrate technology meaningfully into instruction. Ainsley’s educational philosophy is rooted in the four pillars of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication. She encourages educators to view technology not as an add-on, but as a powerful tool for designing transformative learning experiences. Her goal is to help students take ownership of their learning by leveraging digital tools that foster engagement, accessibility, and growth. As a certified eMINTS facilitator, Apple Learning Coach, and active member of the Tennessee Educational Technology Association (TETA), Ainsley is deeply involved in advancing instructional technology statewide and beyond. She regularly presents at district and national conferences, sharing insights on coaching, accessibility, technology integration, PLNs, and effective use of educational apps. Outside the classroom, Ainsley connects with the broader edtech community through her X and BlueSky account, @mrshillteaches, where she shares content, hosts and joins Twitter chats, participates in podcasts, and leads virtual book studies to foster continuous professional learning and collaboration.

Alex Porter is a 7th grade science teacher at Roxboro Community School in Roxboro North Carolina. She is a graduate of Meredith College and holds degrees in Biology and Education. Alex loves to create cooperative learning possibilities for her students. She strongly believes that science should be hands-on and always strives to create learning opportunities that force her students to think critically, independently, and creatively. This she feels fosters an ongoing curiosity and love for science!

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Aaron spent nearly two decades in San Francisco where he developed a deep expertise at the intersection of education and technology. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Trinity College and an M.A. in Digital Media and Learning from the University of San Francisco. Throughout his career, Aaron has held a range of roles across diverse educational settings. He began by serving as a special education paraprofessional in the San Francisco Unified School District, later spending 12 years at San Francisco Day School. He then served as Director of Technology Integration and Engineering Thinking at Town School for Boys for four years. Currently, Aaron is in his fourth year as Director of Technology at AIM Academy in Conshohocken, PA, where he continues to lead innovation in educational technology with a focus on accessibility, creativity, and student-centered learning.

Adam Carreon is an assistant professor of special education in the Department of Elementary and Special Education at Georgia Southern University. He specializes in instructional design, technology, and innovation for the classroom. Carreon’s research interests include the use of emerging technology to provide effective instructional, adaptive and social intervention and assistance. Specifically, the use of augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, extended reality, and artificial intelligence to enhance the classroom for students with disabilities. Carreon’s experiences range from elementary to secondary special education, as well as the college classroom. He travels to many local, state, and national conferences working with and presenting to teachers on innovations to support all learners, especially those with disabilities. Adrienne is a 12-year veteran educator with over 20 years of experience in educational and competitive robotics. With a BS in Applied Mathematics and an MA in Secondary Education, she has dedicated her career to expanding access to STEM education at a local, state, and worldwide level. Before coming to Sphero, she was named 2020 Teacher of the Year for the state of Texas. Adrienne is now focused on creating content that makes robotics, computer science, and engineering fun and accessible to all students.

have spent the last 20 years innovating teaching and learning. From K-12 classrooms, administrative offices and higher education, I have taught, modeled, and coached teachers and leaders of all levels on sound pedagogical methodologies and industry leading best practices while pushing the frontiers of technology integration. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology Leadership from Kennesaw State University. I am certified in all the social sciences (6-12), AP Macro and Micro Economics, and have Tier II Leadership certification. I built my first classroom website in 2003 with Microsoft Front Page and went paperless in 2007. I married my high school sweetheart in 1999 and am the proud father of two boys. When not teaching, you can find me tucked away in the woods by a campfire with a cup of coffee in my hands.

Adam Mangana is a highly respected figure in the education industry, known for his expertise in integrating virtual reality (VR) into the classroom experience. As Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Optima, he has been instrumental in creating VR curriculum development solutions that cater to the unique needs of modern-day learners. Prior to launching Optima, Adam served as Head of School at Benedict Day School, where he established the first-ever virtual reality lab in Mississippi’s Pine Belt region. He also worked as Director of the Extended Reality Lab at Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, MS. In that role, he helped build the largest K-12 extended reality lab in the Southeast. Adam is passionate about crafting the best educational experiences in VR and empowering students to create their own content in the immersive medium. Adam has been a featured speaker at various education conferences, including the National Association of Independent Schools, the Southern Association of Independent Schools, and the People of Color Conference for NAIS. After receiving his bachelor's degree from Brown University, Adam earned a master's degree in Independent School Leadership from Vanderbilt University. He is a Teach For America alumnus and an Albert Bennett award recipient. Adam also founded and hosted the “Ready Teacher One” podcast. Adam's passion for education and innovation has positioned him as a respected authority in the VR education field. With a wealth of expertise and valuable insights, he has significantly impacted numerous schools and organizations, helping them remain at the forefront and providing exceptional learning experiences for their students.
