Aline is an electrical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with experience in research and teaching in Brazil and Germany. Since 2017, she has been a researcher at the UFSC Solar Energy Research Laboratory (Fotovoltaica/UFSC), where she completed her Ph.D. focused on photovoltaic plant inspection. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher working on R&D projects in the fields of photovoltaics, energy storage, green hydrogen, and electric vehicles. Aline is also a co-founder of the Brazilian Network of Women in Solar Energy (Rede MESol) and served as President of the Brazilian Association of Solar Energy (ABENS) from 2023 to 2025.

Markus Vlasits atuou, por mais de 12 anos no setor de energia solar fotovoltaica, ocupando várias posições de executivo. De 2007 a 2009 era diretor para a área de produção de cristalização e wafering, na Q.Cells SE em Thalheim, Alemanha. Posteriormente, foi promovido para a posição de Vice Presidente para Operações de Venda na mesma empresa. Desde 2013 atua no setor fotovoltaico brasileiro, inicialmente como diretor executivo da Yingli Green Energy do Brasil. Em 2016 fundou, junto com colegas do setor, a Faro Energy, uma empresa de investimento em projetos de geração fotovoltaica para clientes comerciais, e atuava como diretor comercial da empresa até 2018. Ao longo do ano 2019 atuou como consultor independente e atuou para estabelecer o Grupo de Trabalho de Armazenamento na Associação Brasileira de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (ABSOLAR). Em 2020 fundou a NewCharge, uma empresa de engenharia e desenvolvimento focada em projetos de armazenamento de energia. A NewCharge opera projetos de armazenamento para clientes comerciais no Brasil e atua como consultor e assessor técnico para projetos relacionados ao tema de armazenamento. Em agosto de 2023 foi eleito presidente do conselho de administração da ABSAE - Associação Brasileira de Soluções de Armazenamento de Energia. Markus também organiza e participa de eventos e conferências voltadas ao tema de armazenamento e, mais recentemente, atuou como co-organizador dos painéis de armazenamento do Congresso The SmarterE / Intersolar South America 2021. Antes da sua atuação nos setores de energia solar fotovoltaica e de armazenamento, ele atuava como consultor da McKinsey & Company na Alemanha.

Cesare is an Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and a PhD from the Politecnico di Torino on Power Electronics for Distributed Generation and Integration of Electric Vehicles in the Power Grid.

Rafael Cunha is an Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and writes the 'Electric Vehicles' column for FotoVolt magazine. He has several years' experience in projects for industrial installations, as well as in projects to implement an electrical work safety regulatory standard (NR-10) and is also a member of the study commission currently developing the NBR 17019 standard. Rafael is a co-founder of and the director of operations at movE Eletromobilidade, which provides technological solutions for managing the charging controls of electric vehicles.
