Dr. Yun is a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in dental office anesthesia. He obtained his M.D. with honors from the University of Southern California and completed his post-graduate training at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. He is a Clinical Professor at the Western University of Health Sciences, and an Expert Consultant and Examiner for the Dental Board of California. He is also a Safety Inspector for the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF). He is a Medical Advisory Board member for Healthfirst, the leading provider of emergency medical supplies for dental offices in North America, and a medical consultant for DOCS Education. He is also Co-Course Director for Boston Children’s Hospital’s annual conference, Pediatric Sedation Outside the O.R. He has extensive clinical research experience and as a popular speaker, gives numerous lectures across the country and internationally on patient safety issues.
