<p>Josh Munday is a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer at Rowden Technologies, specialising in the development of advanced solutions that support defence, fire and rescue, and wider emergency response communities. His work focuses on solving complex challenges around edge connectivity, real-time situational awareness, and the seamless delivery of mission-critical data to first responders.</p>

Steve joined the Royal Signals in September 1986 as a Telecommunication Technician. During his time in the Army, he deployed on 8 operational tours in Northern Ireland, the former Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded an MBE in 2006 for his role as the senior communications engineer in 12 Mechanized Brigade, who were the first formation to convert to Bowman and to deploy it on operations in Iraq during 2005. Steve retired from the Army in December 2012 having served for a little over 26 years. Following the military Steve worked for C3IA Solutions and built a team of 15 engineers and cyber specialists supporting UK MOD Special Projects. He had a short period at FalCom, before joining Silvus Technologies in June 2023.<br /> Steve has a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering, an MSc in Communication and Information Systems Management, he is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the IET.<br /> &nbsp;

My name is Andy Tye, and I am the GIS product Lead for Thames Valley Police and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. I have been working for TVP for over 12 years, with the last 3 being in a more technical and strategic space, after 9 years across Criminal Justice and Traffic. The role of Product Lead is a diverse one, that provides me with the opportunity to work across lots of teams and departments and look to bring the world of GIS products to the force, whether this be from a control room perspective, or within our analyst teams

<p>Anatoli Levine is Director of Products and Standards for Softil, responsible for developing strategy and product roadmap for Softil&rsquo;s portfolio of enabling products for developers, including technologies such as Mission Critical Communications (MCX) over LTE and 5G, FRMCS, IoT, WebRTC, VoLTE/ViLTE/RCS, SIP, IMS, and many others. Anatoli participates in the development of open international communication standards at industry bodies such as 3GPP, ETSI, IETF, and other SDOs.&nbsp;Additionally, Anatoli is closely involved in activities of several mission-critical communications industry organizations such as TCCA, UNIFE UNITEL/UTG, iCERT, and others.</p> <p>Anatoli is a frequent speaker at various industry events and conferences, covering subjects of MCX, FRMCS, IoT, WebRTC, VoLTE/ViLTE, standards, and interoperability. He is a featured author in several industry publications as well as the Softil company blog.</p> <p>Prior to Softil, Anatoli was Director of Product Management for Spirent Communications Developer Tools BU, and prior to that, a Director of Product Management for Radvision, an Avaya company.</p>

<p>Charles is a highly experienced Partner with 25 years in the telecommunications and tech industry. As a strategy and transaction Partner he covers mobile and fixed operators, networks, towercos and digital infrastructure, B2B providers, and the wider supply chain. He has particular focus on critical national infrastructure and its role economy. As an Engineer, Charles is able to understand technical matters and linking them to commercial models and financial investment and returns.</p>

Rachel Cookson is a Customer Success Manager at Esri UK who helps organisations get real value from geospatial technology. With over a decade of experience in the geospatial field, she&rsquo;s a strong advocate for using location intelligence to support Public Safety, National Security and Resilience. Focusing on turning location‑enabled data into actionable insight, improving interoperability and operational awareness, to help organisations make data‑driven decisions that protect communities. She applies her public and private sector experience to find innovative geospatial solutions to solve complex problems.

<p>Steve Killick is Airbox&rsquo;s Tactical Director, he joined Airbox in 2024 following a distinguished 38-year career in the Armed Forces, with 28 years in the UK Special Forces, where he became a user of Airbox Systems. Throughout his military career, Steve was deployed globally on operations across various regions, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and was recognised for exceptional leadership and service. His awards include numerous campaign medals, a Joint Commander&rsquo;s Commendation for Distinguished Service, a Member of the Order of the British Empire, and the US Defense Meritorious Service Medal. As Tactical Director, Steve provides tactical oversight and direction, acting as a subject matter expert for operational knowledge.</p>

<p>Peter Lonergan is a Senior Policy Officer at the European Emergency Number Association (EENA), a Brussels-based NGO dedicated to improving emergency communications across Europe. He leads advocacy on new EU legislation, and helps develop EENA&rsquo;s policy positions on emerging areas of emergency communications such as satellites.</p>

<p>Jon is a former military air traffic controller and pilot with two decades of experience in aviation, where situational awareness was a fundamental component of his profession. As a search and rescue pilot, Jon operated in some situations similar to those described in this series. His&nbsp;time as an Air Traffic Controller and instructing new pilots allowed him to see the cockpit from different perspectives, and led him to where he is now.&nbsp;He is passionate about helping overcome the threats faced by mission-critical aviators, by bridging the gap between life-saving technology and the people who use it.</p>

Kapil spearheads the convergence of Telecom and Aviation. As the CEO and co-founedr of Ericsson Drone Mobility. Kapil pioneered the digitalization of airspace by integrating 5G to power safe, beyond-visual-line-of-sight drones. With over two decades of Business leadership globally, he excels in emerging technologies, digital-airspace strategy and sustainable innovation scaling. Kapil chairs GSMA Drone Interest Group and is an advisor ay British Standard Institute Advance Air Mobility Economic Froum AVIATE. He is an active ICAO AAM task force contributor and shares thought leadership in various global conferences.

Fiona is a Professor of Psychology, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and the Director and founder of the Centre for Human Factors at the University of Hull.&nbsp;Fiona has more than 25 years&rsquo; experience of Human Factors and Occupational Psychology, working across the complementary settings of academia and industry. During this time, she has worked in close collaboration with organisations to understand their unique sources of work-related stress and fatigue, and support them in implementing effective solutions to managing risks to health and safety. Her work has spanned across a broad range of public and private sectors, including work in energy (offshore and onshore wind, gas, electricity distribution), construction, education, local government and emergency services.
