She has published more than 100 articles on quality, safety, equity, and measurement. She co-chairs the National Academy of Medicine Clinicians' Forum on AI in Health and Medicine and is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Miller previously served as the executive vice dean for clinical affairs for the University of Michigan Medical School and president of U-M Health, overseeing all aspects of strategic, operational, clinical, cultural, and financial performance for U-M Health, a clinical enterprise with close to 20,000 employees and caring for more than 1.3 million patients. During his tenure, U-M Health and Michigan Medicine have been recognized as one of the nation’s best hospitals in more specialties than any other Michigan hospital, according to U.S. News & World Report. He has been instrumental in enhancing quality, safety and patient experience and expanding access to health care services across Michigan through operations and strategic partnerships. Dr. Miller also spearheaded Michigan Medicine’s response to COVID-19. Prior to his role as U-M Health president, Dr. Miller served as Chief Clinical Officer for University Hospital and the Frankel Cardiovascular Center from 2018 through 2020. He is also a Professor in the Department of Urology and maintains a clinical practice that focuses on the diagnosis and management of patients with prostate cancer. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Miller served as Director of the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC) from 2011 through 2020, a coalition of more than 40 urology practices improving urological care in Michigan

Dr. Eugene Rhee holds dual leadership roles as National Chair of Urology for Kaiser Permanente, where he oversees the delivery of urologic care to 12 million lives within the United States' largest nonprofit managed healthcare system and Area Assistant Medical Director for Business Line & Finance for Kaiser Permanente, San Diego. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in biology and political science from Emory University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Clinically, Dr. Rhee is a specialist in incontinence, urologic reconstruction, sexual medicine, and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). In addition to his clinical practice, he holds device patents in the field of urology, reflecting his commitment to advancing the science of care through innovation and technology. Dr. Rhee is a dedicated leader in urological health policy and scholarly work. He served as the inaugural Section Editor for health policy at Urology Practice and is a graduate of both the AUA Leadership Program and the AUA Gallagher Health Policy Scholar program. His leadership includes tenure as AUA Public Policy Chair (2020–2024) and key roles on committees for federal advocacy, workforce planning, electronic health records and telemedicine. He currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the AUA Western Section. Dr. Rhee has been a member of the AUA since 1996.
