Gary Weissel is the Managing Officer of Tronos Aviation Consulting providing a wide range of advisory services to the aviation industry with a special focus on aircraft interiors. Mr. Weissel’s aviation career spans 35+ years. Prior to starting Tronos Aviation Consulting, he spent 14 years at ICF SH&E. Mr. Weissel has also held positions in program management, engineering and interiors at B/E Aerospace and Delta Air Lines. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences, regularly quoted in industry articles, has appeared on CNN and NBC as an aviation expert and regularly guest lectures at several universities.

Antonio joined Expliseat in November 2023, and oversees global marketing and communications, product and customer marketing, and the formulation of Expliseat Portfolio and Business Strategies. With 20+ years of experience, Antonio background includes working at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, Interiors OEMs, Tier1 Engineering Service Providers, and Aviation Strategic Advisories. He has held leadership positions in technical, program management, business development, and marketing. Antonio holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering (University "Federico II" in Naples, Italy) and a mini MBA from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

With over a decade in aviation, Christopher Dela Rosa is Cabin Product Director at Alaska Airlines, where he leads long-term interior strategy across a fleet of 300+ mainline and regional aircraft. More recently he has spearheaded a number of retrofit programs to add premium capacity across Alaska's 737 fleet, delivering the airline's largest single-year retrofit campaign in 2025.

Ben Orson is one of aviation's most influential cabin designers, with award-winning work for Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines and American. He led the creation of the original reverse-herringbone business class seat — a groundbreaking design that remains the global standard. In 2020, he founded Orson Associates, a multi-disciplinary studio specialising in strategy, industrial design and sustainability advancement in the cabins sector. Ben has led international creative teams across the UK and USA, is named on multiple patents, and holds a Carbon Literacy qualification. An Associate Lecturer at University of the Arts London.

Vincenzo Pasquarelli is a Project Certification Manager – ETSO at EASA, with over 10 years of experience leading certification activities for aircraft interiors and equipment. Over a 20-year career in the cabin and seating sector, spanning both industry and regulatory roles, he has been closely involved in the evolution of seat certification and ETSO processes. He currently manages complex certification programmes and contribute to strategic initiatives focused on regulatory harmonisation, certification efficiency, and the adaptation of certification frameworks to meet increasing industrial demand and technological complexity.

Grégory Lievre, an Aeronautical Engineer from ENAC (Toulouse, France), held various positions in the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC, Senegal), the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO, Canada) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA, Germany) over the past 28 years. He's currently the Head of the DOA and ETSOA Department in the EASA Certification Directorate. Mr Lièvre also holds a Master Degree in Law, in Economics and in Political Science.

Stephanie is an aviation and passenger experience communications professional with over a decade of experience across editorial, media, and industry insight roles. She is currently serving as APEX Insights Editor for the Airline Passenger Experience Association, but first cut her teeth on aviation journalism at HMG Aerospace, where she learned her trade working on Inflight and LARA magazines as an editorial assistant and then later as Assistant Editor.

Joe Leader serves as the Group CEO of APEX, covering Airline Passenger Experience Association), IFSA (International Flight Services Association), and FTE (Future Travel Experience). As a forerunner in aviation and technology, Leader has been a leading executive for more than two decades across technology and aviation companies. Leader holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Emory University, an MBA in technology management, and conducted his business Ph.D. research on accelerating technology adoption in aviation.
