Huey Chyi serves as the Director of Sustainability at the Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore. SFC aims to position Singapore as a vibrant Asian hub for responsible fashion. She brings more than 20 years of international experience across manufacturing and B2B sectors, with a rich blend of expertise in strategic sustainability, ESG reporting, marketing, business planning, and engineering. In her current role, Huey Chyi is dedicated to fostering and enabling responsible practices that drive systemic transformation and positive impact in fashion and textile. Huey Chyi completed an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore, and a BEng in Chemical Engineering with a specialisation in Bioprocess.
Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Professor · Tiangong University
Chunhong Wang, female, born July 1980, member of the Communist Party of China, holds a Doctorate. Currently serves as Director of the Academic Affairs Office at Tiangong University, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Changjiang Scholar appointed by the Ministry of Education, and Academic Leader in Chinese Textiles. Serves as Deputy Director of the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Centre for High-Performance Fibre and Textile Composite Materials Preparation Technology and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Advanced Textile Composites. Also holds academic positions including Director of the China Textile Engineering Society’s ‘Plant Fibre Reinforced Bio-based Composites’ Research Base, concurrently serving as Director of the Society’s Sustainable Textile Technology Committee, Deputy Director of the Hemp Textile Committee, Standing Council Member of the 27th Council, and Committee Member of the China Jute and Hemp Textile Industry Association’s Jute and Hemp Committees. With over two decades of expertise in developing sustainable biomass-based textile materials, she has led more than 40 research projects including National Natural Science Foundation grants. Her accolades comprise over 20 provincial/ministerial-level awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of the China National Textile and Apparel Council Science and Technology Progress Award, and Second Prize of the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award. She has published 256 high-quality academic papers, including 105 indexed by SCI and EI, and was listed among the Top 1% Highly Cited Scholars on CNKI in 2024. She has authored 14 academic monographs and industry-guiding white papers, with two publications receiving the First and Second Prizes for Outstanding Publications from the China National Textile and Apparel Council. She holds 39 authorised patents, several of which have received the China National Textile and Apparel Council Gold Medal for Patents, Tianjin Municipal Outstanding Patent Award, and China National Textile and Apparel Council Outstanding Patent Award. These patents have been successfully commercialised and applied within the industrial sector, contributing to the formulation of multiple standards including China textile industry standards, Tianjin municipal standards, and group standards.
Head of Advisory, Asia Pacific · South Pole
Shruti has 17 years of experience across sustainability consulting and corporate sustainability with deep expertise in leading design and delivery of sustainability strategy and low carbon solutions for organisations. She has led projects across a broad spectrum of sustainability topics including science based and net zero target setting, carbon budgeting and mitigation roadmaps, renewable energy strategy, green supply chain, circular economy and more. Her experience spans across multiple industries such as transportation & logistics, consumer goods, retail, energy, technology, chemicals and others. For the past 3 years, Shruti has been heading South Pole’s advisory business in the Asia Pacific region.
Senior Vice President of Sourcing and Production · Komar
Yelena Mogelefsky is a seasoned fashion industry executive with over 20 years of experience in product development, global sourcing, and supply chain strategy. After earning a B.S. in International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she began her career in children’s apparel, building expertise in product creation and production. Her leadership journey includes roles at Li & Fung and Hanes Brand Inc., before becoming Director of Product Development and Sourcing at Foot Locker. There, she managed sourcing across categories including footwear, belts, cold weather accessories, and apparel, showcasing her cross-category expertise. Currently, Yelena is Senior Vice President of Sourcing and Production at Komar’s Intimates Division. She oversees teams across New York, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, guiding end-to-end sourcing for sleepwear, intimates, kids’ products, and activewear. She plays a key role in advancing Komar’s growth, efficiency, and resilience in an evolving global marketplace. Her portfolio now includes sustainability and traceability initiatives, supporting ESG goals and building transparent supply chains. Beyond her executive role, Yelena contributes to the broader fashion community as an adjunct professor in FIT’s International Trade and Marketing department, sharing real-world insights with students. She also serves on advisory boards and is a frequent speaker on sourcing innovation, supply chain ethics, and female leadership in fashion. She travels extensively across Asia and Latin America, including China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Peru. A proud mother of two, she balances family with passions for pickleball, music, and mentoring. In every role, Yelena embodies a values-driven approach aligned with Komar’s core principles of collaboration, innovation, people, and integrity.

Mr. Xu Yingxin graduated from China Textile University, and currently serves as the Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council and Chairman of the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT. Mr. Xu Yingxin has long been working in the field of textile and garment industry’s public management and services. For the past 30 years, he has organized a series of world-renowned brand exhibitions which covers the entire textile industry chain. In the meantime, he has been responsible for conducting relevant work concerning textile and garment industry’s international trade policy and “going global” development. He has also actively encouraged China’s textile and garment industry to invest in the countries along the Belt and Road and promoted textile and garment industrial cooperation internationally.

Previously general manager and chairman of China Textile Network Information Technology Co., Ltd., deputy president and party secretary of China Textile Information Center, deputy secretary-general and director of Information Department of China National Textile and Apparel Council, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council. He is currently the secretary-general of China National Textile and Apparel Council, concurrently the president of China Textile Enterprise Association.
