Randy Russo is President of IKECA, and also chairs the IKECA Conference Committee. Randy holds IKECA CECS and CESI certifications. Randy is National Compliance Manager for Kept Companies, with more than a decade of experience in commercial kitchen exhaust inspection and cleaning, following a 30-year career in the restaurant industry.

MJ Palazzolo, ASCS, VSMR, CVI, C-DET, is the President and CEO of Safety King, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in HVAC cleaning and restoration, MJ has built a reputation as a leader in the industry. He is an alumnus of the University of Michigan and actively contributes to the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), serving on several committees, including the Annual Meeting, Industry & Public Relations, and Membership Committees.

Rob Jurgiel is a 2nd Generation Industrial Hygienist with Jurgiel & Associates with over 34 years of experience. He holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and a MPH degree in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health from the University of Michigan. His is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and a Missouri Professional Engineer (PE). As a consultant, Rob has a wide variety experience in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Remediation, IAQ & Mold, and Asbestos & Lead Consulting. He has also served as a fact witness and expert witness for a variety of asbestos (wet demolition practices & mesothelioma) and mold-related cases

Dane Bundy is Vice President of IKECA, and also chairs the IKECA Education Committee. Dane is an IKECA Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialist (CECS), and serves as Vice President of CSC Services LLC in South Windsor, CT, a full-service company specializing in kitchen exhaust hood cleaning commercial and residential HVAC ductwork cleaning.

Matt is the Senior Vice President at Air Quality Systems in Atlanta. He was trained by NADCA Hall of Fame Member Tommy Gwaltney and attended his first Fall Tech Conference in 2019. The friends and connections Matt made through NADCA have helped him advance his career in the industry through training, collaboration, and education. He currently serves on the Annual Meeting and Certification Committees and contributed to ASCS item writing as a subject matter expert. He is fully committed to raising the profile and benefits provided by the HVAC cleaning industry.

Matt is the owner of Mountain Duct Cleaning serving the greater Twin Cities area of Minneapolis – St. Paul, Minnesota. Matt is a second-generation duct cleaner and cleaned his first HVAC system at the age of 14 alongside his father, Greg. After taking a few years off to attend college and try his hand at a few different other career paths, he found his way back into a duct cleaning van in 2007 and eventually took over his dad’s company in 2010. Matt is ASCS, CVI, and CDET certified. He currently serves on NADCA’s Fall Technical Conference Committee and Safety and Education Committee among others. He is also a Regional Coordinator and serves on the Board of Directors. When not working, Matt enjoys travelling, sports, and being out on the water in just about anything that floats.

Brian is a Certified EOS Implementer, Outgrow Sales Advisor, and former Vistage peer chair with 30+ years of executive leadership experience. His background includes leading operations for a 130-location national theatre chain and serving as COO/Integrator of a $25M high-end catering company. Brian now coaches entrepreneurial leaders on building strong teams, disciplined systems, and predictable, repeatable revenue.

Robert Rizen is the Vice President of St Louis Missouri based GC Industrial. He has been involved with air conveyance cleaning since 1989 as well as full service restoration operations. Specialties include: mechanical hygiene, microbial remediation, commercial/ industrial cleaning, project management, healthcare, operations, and consulting. With more than 12 years of experience at Plante Moran, Paul specializes in income tax planning and compliance for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and other closely held entities. He integrates these strategies into comprehensive estate and philanthropic planning to help clients achieve both immediate financial efficiency and long-term legacy goals. Paul works primarily with entrepreneurs, real estate professionals, and sports and entertainment figures—often advising clients with complex, overlapping financial interests. He is particularly skilled at helping clients navigate the tension between income and transfer tax exposure, balancing today’s tax opportunities with multigenerational planning objectives. As the son of a schoolteacher, Paul is passionate about educating his clients. He is known for his calm demeanor, approachable style, and practical, solutions-oriented mindset. His ability to simplify complex issues and build trusted relationships is central to his advisory approach. Paul previously served on the board of the Denver Estate Planning Council and remains an active member. He earned both his B.B.A. and Master of Accountancy from Texas Christian University.

Dr. Mark Hernandez attained all his degrees from University of California at Berkeley and holds the Archuleta Chair of Environmental Engineering at the University of Colorado. He is a registered professional civil engineer and is an expert on the characterization and control of bioaerosols. His research leverages modern forensic science for air quality surveillance and the design of novel disinfection systems for the built environment During his 28 years on the University of Colorado’s engineering faculty, he has authored over 120 archival publications and holds 8 patents–many of which are licensed to the tech sector. He has served on four US National Academy of Science Committees, focusing on the containment of bioterrorism research, the microbiology of the indoor environments and disease transmission in urban settings and slums. He is currently leading a CDC funded effort to couple air quality monitors with (70,000) HEPA filters being installed in public school classrooms across the State of Colorado.
