He oversees a global team responsible for market analysis, industry news and trends, forecasting, publishing and data products.</p> <p>Prior to joining Poten in 2014, served as COO Americas for Argus Media based in Houston starting 2011, and from 2003 through 2011 as the head of Argus’ Asia Pacific business, where he was responsible for managing all of Argus’ business East of the Suez Canal. In this role, he oversaw the development of new products focused on petroleum, LNG, LPG, coal, base oils, biofuels and other products.</p> <p>He was also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives and government officials.</p> <p>With more than 25 years’ experience in global energy markets, Jason has worked in Asia, Latin America, Europe and the US. <p>Simon was appointed Chairman and Chief Analyst in April 2016. After rejoining Wood Mackenzie in 2010 he led the commodities, global trends and corporate analysis research and has been writing ‘The Edge’, Wood Mackenzie’s weekly thought-leadership insight on energy for almost a decade. He has over 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, utilities and mining sectors, working with the boards of many energy companies on strategic issues. </p> <p>Simon was MD and Head of Pan European Utilities Research with BoA from 1998. <p>Eng. Abdullah Al-Sulaiti serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd. (Nakilat), one of the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping companies in the world. Since joining the company in 2011, he has been leading a path of sustainable growth in support of Qatar’s energy future and maritime transport sector, enabling Nakilat to solidify its position among the most prominent shipping companies globally.</p> <p>Al-Sulaiti has more than 25 years of experience in the energy and maritime shipping industry. Before assuming the role of CEO, he began his professional career in 1998 at QatarEnergy LNG, where he held several leadership positions over the span of about 13 years. During this time, he played a strategic role in managing the LNG shipping fleet, contributed to the development of marine operations, and led the strategic expansion project.</p> <p>In addition to his role at Nakilat, Al-Sulaiti chairs the boards of the company’s joint ventures: Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions, specializing in ship repair and maintenance, and Qatar Fabrication Company (Q-FAB), specialized in manufacturing and maintaining offshore structures. He is also a board member of Gulf Drilling International (GDI).
