John has a 25+ year career in product development and aerospace with Honeywell, Lockheed Martin Skunk Works™, Australia’s CSIRO, and Arconic (formerly Alcoa and RTI International Metals). He’s been involved in metal additive manufacturing throughout this career beginning in the late 1990s where he was part of the Sandia National Labs LENS™ CRADA. Since then, he has been in and around AM working both technical and business cases for implementation and development efforts in materials, powders, processing, and printing to mature the technology for applications. John is recognized internationally for contributions to additive manufacturing, product development, and leadership in engineering. His groups boast world firsts in medical, therapeutic, and aerospace additive manufacturing. John is a Materials Engineer by background but has developed expertise in manufacturing, airframe structures, gas turbines and low observables. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University, and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University, both in Melbourne, Australia. In 2014, he was Purdue University’s Materials Engineer of the Year, and in 2017, he was invited to join the Additive Manufacturing Technical Community as a SME Advisor based upon active industry contributions, reputation, and personal commitment to expand the use of additive manufacturing.

As Managing Director, Stefanie Brickwede passionately set up the international leading network “Mobility goes Additive” in 2016 with the aim of pushing industrial 3D printing into series production. 2019 a second branch was launched: „Medical goes Additive“ assists Hospitals, companies and institutions throughout the medical sector to extent the use of Additive Manufacturing. Now, MGA has more than 140 members active in close to 20 working and focus groups with more than 70 meetings a year. After graduating as an economist from the Technical University of Hanover, she started her career in the mobility sector and has since held various management and project management positions at the Deutsche Bahn AG. Since 2015, Stefanie also heads the corporate project 3D Printing at the DB and is responsible for the successful introduction of Additive Manufacturing throughout the DB group. This gives her a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges users have to face. In addition, Ms. Brickwede is the initiator of the “Women in AM” network and actively promotes women in the AM industry.

Stephen joined Stifel in 2017 and is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Electronics & Industrial Technology team within Stifel’s Global Technology Group. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience and specializes in advising clients within the 3D printing, digital manufacturing, factory, warehouse automation, digital and packaging print, technology reseller, integration, and distribution sectors. Prior to joining Stifel, he worked at Citigroup as an investment banker in both the Global Industrial Group, Global Transportation Group, and as a workout specialist in Citigroup’s North American Substandard & Non-Performing Loan Workout Group. Stephen began his career at Arthur Andersen in corporate restructuring.

Joseph Calmese is the President & Chief Executive Officer at ADDMAN, where he leverages over 15 years of experience in strategic leadership, business expansion, and innovation. As the CEO of MADDE, I lead a team of innovators in developing and implementing cutting-edge 3D printing systems for various industries, including semiconductor, space, and SMR. With over 15 years of experience in research and development, I have a proven track record of advancing 3D printing technology and materials to address productivity and material property challenges. My journey began as a Senior Research Engineer at Hyundai Motor Company, where I focused on developing innovative materials and 3D printing systems. I also hold a Ph.D. in Ceramic Composites, 3D printing, Geopolymer, and its applications in stress wave mitigation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My passion is to leverage my expertise in 3D printing and materials science to create sustainable and efficient solutions for the future.

Brigitte de Vet-Veithen is CEO Elect at Materialise and a member of the Executive Committee. Effective on January 1, 2024, she will succeed Fried Vancraen as the company’s CEO, and will also become President of the Materialise Executive Committee. Brigitte joined Materialise in 2016 and is an accomplished business leader with over 20 years of experience across multiple industries. Previously, she led the company’s Medical business and strategic projects running across all businesses as Executive Vice President of Materialise Medical, which develops software and 3D printing solutions that help improve patient outcomes. Under her leadership, the medical segment grew to become the company’s fastest-growing and most profitable business segment. Prior to joining Materialise Brigitte held various management, sales, R&D and marketing positions at Johnson & Johnson, ultimately serving as General Manager for Cordis in Germany and VP EMEA for Cordis Neurovascular. She led several companies through growth and transformation, including in her role as CEO of Acertys Group, where she drove a significant effort to improve operational efficiencies, strengthen the technology portfolio, and create growth. Brigitte holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA with a major in Engineering from HEC Liege.

Nick Doucette has led operations for Ursa Major for the last 9 years, growing the company from 7 people to over 300 in that time. Ursa Major is a leader in advanced hypersonic propulsion solutions and solid rocket motors for national security missions. Prior to Ursa, Nick ran manufacturing engineering and additive manufacturing for SpaceX for over 7 years. He was responsible for building the team and infrastructure to scale Merlin and Dragon propulsion systems. He has an Aerospace Engineering degree from Boston University and a Master’s in Business from Indiana University.

Mark Douglass is the Business Development Manager for Lincoln Electric Additive Solutions, responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, strategic commercial and technical partnerships; previous to this role he was a member of Lincoln Electric’s strategy and M&A team. Prior to Lincoln Electric, he was sell-side equity analyst, focusing on industrial manufacturing technology companies. Preceding his Wall Street tenure, he was an advanced manufacturing engineer specializing in laser materials processing. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.

Bryan Dow is a Managing Director in Stifel’s Global Technology Group where he Co-Leads the Electronics and Industrial Technologies Investment Banking practice. Bryan has over 17 years of Investment Banking experience specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Equity Capital Markets for disruptive businesses in advanced manufacturing, industrial software, IoT, and emerging technologies, such as 3D printing and drones. Bryan joined Stifel through its 2019 acquisition of Mooreland Partners where he was a Partner. Prior to joining Mooreland in 2013, Bryan was Head of the Clean Energy and Industrial Technology Investment Banking Group at ThinkEquity, where he advised clients on a range of transactions. Previously, he was also a member of the Technology Investment Banking Group at Needham & Company. Bryan earned a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University.

Scott Dunham is Executive Vice President of Research at AM Research. He has spoken at many prestigious events and is regularly consulted and cited by industry leading companies With a decade in technology based market research, eight devoted to 3D printing, Scott brought to AM Research expertise in identifying opportunities in the 3D printing industry and years of research experience in the areas of advanced manufacturing and 3D printing. Marc Fette is a distinguished professional holding key roles in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. As the CEO of Composite Technology Center CTC GmbH, an AIRBUS Company, he oversees innovative developments in composite technology. Marc also serves as the Chairman of the VDI Advisory Board for Aerospace Technology, contributing to the advancement of the aerospace industry. Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman of the Board at CU NORD (Composites United e.V.) and plays a pivotal role as the Group Leader for Additive Manufacturing & Lightweight Construction at the Manufacturing Technology Laboratory, Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg.

SincGlynn Fletcher, CCA, EOS Group and President of EOS North America, holds a senior executive position at the EOS global level while also directly leading the company’s operations in North America. He joined EOS in 2015, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the CNC machine tool industry. Glynn has worked closely with Dr. Hans Langer, EOS’s founder, to leverage his machine tool background and significantly advance the adoption of additive manufacturing worldwide. EOS sales in North America have grown five-fold during his tenure and EOS has firmly established itself as the global market leader. Previously, Glynn worked for the Swiss conglomerate Georg Fischer Corp., beginning in 1996 as managing director of a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. Glynn went on to become managing director of the company’s entire operations in the UK. In 2002 Glynn accepted a strategic role for GF Machining Solutions (GFMS) based in North America, ultimately responsible for all GFMS operations in North and South America. Over the next 13 years, as President, Glynn was responsible for GFMS companies in Chicago, Ill. and Sao Paulo, Brazil, growing them significantly to combined revenues approaching $250 million. Glynn started his career as an engineering apprentice at the then UK truck manufacturer Fodens Limited. After gaining his credentials he worked as a international service engineer, undertaking assignments all over the Middle East and Africa. He began his CNC machine tool industry career in 1984 as a Sales Engineer with Cincinnati Milacron Ltd. He quickly advanced to become National Sales Manager, contributing to a period of unprecedented growth between 1989 and 1996. Glynn has also completed management development courses at Warwick University, in the UK, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. He has lectured at Yale University and IPADE, Mexico City. Glynn now also serves on the Board of the Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT).e March 2015, Glynn Fletcher has served as President of EOS North America. Alongside this responsibility, he oversees the EOS subsidiary Advanced Laser Materials (ALM), a top provider of high-performance polymers, including customized blends for additive manufacturing. Additionally, Glynn plays a key role in driving progress for selected high-growth industries and providing strategic guidance to the global organization. Steve Fournier has a graduate degree in Engineering Physics, with over 23 years of experience in Silicon Valley R&D, products and business development, engineering project management and manufacturing of optical telecom & lasers, semiconductor mechatronic equipment, DoE National Laboratory projects and DoD aerospace/ aviation unmanned aerial systems. For the past 15 years, he’s been a driving force in Additive Manufacturing (AM) and advanced production technologies, leading transformative initiatives that fuse innovation with industrial execution. As the leader of the Additive Designs & Manufacturing Center of Excellence at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI), Steve is shaping the future of aerospace manufacturing. He is the strategic force behind GA-ASI’s Factory of the Future—where AM, automation, and digital integration converge into a powerful, scalable ecosystem driving the next era of aerospace & defense production.

Dr. Johannes Gartner is president and press spokesman of AM-Austria, publisher of 3Druck.com , the largest German-language online magazine on additive manufacturing, and researcher at TU Delft, Netherlands.

Filip Geerts is a professional in international, EU and national public and regulatory affairs. He is specialised in the management of corporate and governmental affairs departments of companies, national and EU trade associations and non-profit organizations. He was deputy-director for the largest Belgian association for the technological industry, public and regulatory affairs manager for IBM Europe, Middle East and Africa and secretary general for numerous European trade associations in e.g. the ICT, the electro-medical, lighting and environmental sector. He has degrees from Insead Fontainebleau and Singapore, London School of Economics, Vlerick, College of Europe, The Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and the Catholic University of Leuven as in commercial engineering.
